Synrgy is 26 year old Washington, DC native Carl Simon. Cutting his musical teeth by playing guitar in various rock bands since 1993, he made the jump to turntables in 2000. Since his debut performance as a Drum N Bass DJ in 2001, Synrgy has rocked dance floors from the Nations Capital to Honolulu Hawaii, and has shared the stage with the likes of Dylan, Robyn Chaos, and John B to name a few. From his residencies at All Aspects in DC and Virginia, Subphonix in Honolulu (of which he is also a founding father), a winning performance at the Fierce Beats DJ Contest, and a hand full of promotional mix CDs, he has gained a reputation for rock solid mixing and igniting the dance floor with his unique energy.

 

Synrgy has been producing his own drum n bass music since late 2004. Honing his skills with other Honolulu artists Meilo, Antikkz and Empyr, he has been working solo since returning to DC in 2005, though is still a respected member of the Pacific Jungle Management roster. Refusing to commit himself to any sub-genre, his tracks range from the darkest and angriest to the lightest and most tranquil of Drum N Bass and cover most points between.
