There are quite a few downloads here, plus some mediocre tracklists. Worth a quick look.

Makes me laugh how they've basically pasted the complete part of the 1xtra thread. I'm sure I wrote most of that out originally, those are our early draft tracklistings too. They've even left Me, dubbish, Lifeline, Skutch' etc names in there. all the links are ours hotlinked I think.

Fair play tho. Glad they've done it, just funny seeing our thread duplicated on random forums. Quite pleased with how well that lot travelled round the net.

Ha, oops! If you fancy putting up any more mixes, perhaps somewhere more permanent, that would be fantastic! I'm listening to the Tayla OITJ as we speak, lovely set. Did you ever manage to ID the one thats missing in that set?

Any idea which show they played Shy FX - "The Wolf" with two Guest MC's over the top on one of the 96 shows - think it might have been Shy FX One in the Jungle 18/10/96?

It's no-ones set, there was an hour mix every week by a guest, and before and after it were unmixed selections from the producer + top ten chart etc.

It would be good to have stream/downloadable sets on a page somewhere, esp. as I'm probably gonna get a few requests for audio as this thread gets bigger!. No plans for that at the moment, something I might look into one day though, I just haven't got the time right now.

I'll have to get back re; the tayla ID, can't remember now.

EDIT: No, still no ID for Tayla. I'm trying to gradually post clips in the ID's forum, going through them 20 at a time, so this track will be posted for ID when I get to it. (Just about finished '96 so far)

Excuse the noob for jumping in feet first here but this post has drawn me in from the wide world of the tinternet. Some where towards the end of this awesome christmas jungle blitz 96 mix there was a track with proper rasta vocal samples "haile i king selassie i JAH rastafari, etc, and the classic "Emperor Haile Selassie the third, conquering lion of the tribe of judah". Then followed by the dopest jungle tune ever. Does anybody know what it was called??? Massive thanks in advance
