Repercussion DJs

The Repercussion DJs are made up of Wylie (Dave), Reference (Howard), and Ollie K. Dave and Howard are one half of the Repercussion event production team, and also two of the founders of Reprise Agency. Ollie is currently one of the leading graphic designers working in the drum&bass scene today, with his skills being used by the likes DJ Friction, Knowledge Magazine and of course Repercussion.

All three have been DJing since the mid 90s, playing at events such as One Nation, Traffic, Best of British, Metric, HQ and many more, as well as their own events along the way. A blend of similar yet complementary musical tastes and DJ styles that focus on a diverse range of deep, rolling drum&bass is underlined by a wide range of choice dubplate selections from the likes of Calibre, Break, Total Science, Tactile, Vicious Circle, Klute, Commix, Mutt and many more, especially suited to sets of 2-3 hours.

Having represented across the UK and also in Europe, the crew have travelled to cities such as Belgrade, Bremen, Ghent, Paris, and Rennes within the last year alone, as well as playing various radio slots including a special hour guest mix on DJ Friction's BBC 1Xtra show, and on Ministry of Sound radio, plus production experience at Kane UK for shows hosted by Ram Records, Klute, Raiden, Fierce and C4C.

Alongside a reputation for playing progressive d&b sets that can fit any situation and any dancefloor, there are also regular sets playing deep house, nu jazz and broken beats, reflecting the Repercussion events ethos and the huge range of musical influences that make Repercussion DJs' sets what they are today.

In short, this DJ collective have worked across the musical spectrum as promoters, agents, designers and of course music fans and collectors, and their sets always represent this - crossing the boundaries and joining the musical dots.
