ATM Issue
80 Out Now!
This is the final issue of ATM for 2008 and we’re really pleased to have been able to cram so much content into this issue. We feel that if you’re into good music, whether drum and bass, dubstep, hip-hop, breakbeat, or the many exciting grey areas in between these genres, you will find the magazine your guide to the best in underground music, art and counter culture.
Take the Bukem interview, for example. In this rare interview with one of the biggest talents of the last twenty years, I found out more about him doing this interview than I could have hoped for. If you take an interest in the personality and character behind the public persona of superstar DJs and producers, this feature will be for you.
It also gives me great pleasure to continue our policy of giving away some of the best free D&B mix CDs known to man, with our hook up with Kasra and Critical Music. This label is always on the money for quality D&B music, and this mix showcases some killer productions from some of the leading producers in the game. Stick it on, crank it up loud, and enjoy.
Elsewhere, there are interviews with the likes of Break, Skream, Riko, Ruffstuff, Polar, Large Professor, Freq Nasty, Brookes Bros and Phace. I even sent out a couple of our trusty writers to check out Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona and Sun & Bass in Sardinia, and when they reported back, I realised I made a mistake by not sending myself!
The next issue will be out on 5th January 2009. From everyone at ATM, we wish you all the best for the rest of 2008 and thank you for your continued support. If you want to get in touch about anything hit me up at editor@atm-mag.com or on MySpace. Until next time, salute!
