| About arsen!c owns your mom |
Emerging onto the Drum & Bass scene in 2005, this duo native to Indiana USA has been
shaking up the scene with unconventional formulas, twisted original bass tones, and heavy beats.
The duo is comprised of Point of Reference, and Symbol (formerly tek infektion) both native to Indiana and patrons
of their respective scenes for many years came together to create some of the most original
drum & bass to ever grace the genre. Bringing with them elements of breakcore, metal, DnB, hip hop,
and many many other genres of music that has inspired and influenced them, these two producers have
acquired the support of some of the genre's biggest and most prominent names. Among these are Dieselboy,
Evol Intent, Ewun, Gein, Dylan, Tech Itch, Current Value, SPL, Limewax, Spor, Chris Renegade, Hive,
Noisia, Spktrm, Demo, and many many others with many more to come.
There is no stopping these two nutcases. Releases on Evol Intent Recordings, Freak Recordings, Intransigent
Recordings, AT recordings, G2 Recordings, and a whole slew of new offerings will be rocking dancefloors
world-wide for many years to come. They have been privileged to collaborate with some of DnB's heavyweights
which include Evol Intent, Gein, and Spktrm. "Aneurysm" which has seen release on Evol Intent Recordings landed
in the 1 spot on BBC Radio One's Breezeblock radio show hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs almost immediately after it left their studio.
It earned the title of the Breezeblock Bomb and instantly became a DnB hit.
After being quiet for the better part of 2007, the duo has once again entered their lab, and are cooking up
copious amounts of new music. "lil of this, lil of that." Symbol replied with a grin, "we no longer see any reason
to continue pigeonholing ourselves into this one sound when there is so much more that we can offer as artists."
With that being said, you can guarantee that these two boys are venturing out into other genres and are planning to rock
those just as hard as they have dnb. "We don't want to stick to formulas and current trends, we aim to create new ones".
These two boys are going to be turning heads and ears in their direction for a long time. 2008 / 2009 will mark their return to
the forefront with many tours in the works and new music emerging from the studio.
