Music Production, Technology, Cosmology, Physics & Mathematics, Film & TV, Reading and the Pursuit of Knowledge, Meditation, Eastern Philosophy, Geometry & Symbology, Altered States of Consciousness, Paranormal Phenomena, Harmless Practical Jokes, Skateboarding, Basketball, Rugby, Chess, Cooking, Fresh Air....
Music
DRUM 'N' BASS, Hip Hop, Breaks, Trip Hop, Dubstep, Dub, Reggae, Ambient, Electro, Funk/Jazz/Soul,...far too much to be specific but I will say I'm into almost anything as long as it's coherent and induces some type of mood or emotional response...
Movies
Thrillers, Sci-Fi, Action, Comedy, Foreign...too many to be specific.... Ive found that films by Lynch, Stone, Nolan, Arronofsky, Kubric & Tarantino always keep me captivated. I'm really sick of seeing Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise and the rest of this heavily diluted and formulaic box office Bruckheimer cheese. It also sucks to see foreign films adopting more of a flashy hollywood aesthetic these days, with more emphasis on visual impact and much less attention to plot or witty dialogue.. Sometimes i wonder if today's general audienes are really this stupid...Maybe i've just become completely desensitized to all these commonly regurgitated sexual innuendos and those crappy stunt and explosion cliches. What a waste of resources...
Television
I dont really have much time for tv these days.
I guess a brief selection of what i enjoy would go along the lines of:
Seinfeld, X-Files, Taxi Cab Confessions/Exposure, Trailer Park Boys, Arrested Developement, Jamie K Xperience, Unsolved Mysteries, The Daily Show with John Stewart, Star Trek, Cops...I
I'm also really into documentaries, including a good dose of the fringe/conspiracy stuff.
Books
I try to read as much as possible. Here's a bunch of authors I enjoy...
Popular Fiction: John Grisham, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Dan Brown, Scott Turow, Robert Ludlum...
Non Fiction: Fritjof Capra, Robert Gilmore, Robert Monroe, Terence Mckenna, Donald Hamilton, Stanislav Grof, Richard Broughton, Jim Yakabuski, Ron Centolo, Don Muro...
Heroes
I'm not too comfortable with this concept. There are plenty of people I respect..too many to mention... I feel that role models are for people who require direction and I don't particularly aspire to be like anyone who has lived or achieved before me.
Who I'd like to meet: Douschespace wackos, overly delusional emos, flimsy plastic gangsters, manic street tweakers, attention whoring sycophants, band camp nymphets and groupies posing behind fake accounts for the purpose of marketing dating and porn sites ... please apply within but be aware of the fact that eligibility is largely based on the results of an objective personality snap judgement, which more often than not, may inadvertently lead to members of the aforementioned steroetypes dialing a number from rejectionline.com.
On the flip side, if you've met me or corresponded with me, dont hesitate to get in touch. Also if you genuinely share a few interests with me, or perhaps dig my music, then I would definitely enjoy hearing from you.
Thank you for being part of the Marijuana Policy Project's MySpace page!
Our marijuana laws aren't working. They cost taxpayers billions of dollars a year, keep police from focusing on real crimes, and don't keep marijuana away from minors.
Nearly 800,000 Americans are arrested on marijuana charges each year - one arrest every 40 seconds. And 9 out of 10 arrests are for possession, not distribution.
72% of American adults believe that marijuana users should not be jailed -- and a whopping 80% support legal access to medical marijuana for seriously ill patients.
MPP is leading the fight to replace marijuana prohibition with taxation and regulation. It's just common sense.
Again, thank you for being a part of our MySpace page!
Sincerly,
The Marijuana Policy Project
