Can anyone please let me know if there is audio for this set as I've not heard these tracks before. It contains three tracks by G Squad and Stingray which may be some of the missing ID's from the Kenny Ken sets in 1998/1999 - Thanks.

In 2018 I started buying new jungle and hardcore vinyl, after a break of about 8 years. I was enjoying the handful of new vinyl releases that were coming out, and the artists that were reinventing the sounds I used to love in the 1990's. I thought I'd start recording mixes again, and recreate the simple vibes that I used to love from doing mixtapes as a teenager. Fast forward to 2025 and there's now loads of wicked new jungle and hardcore coming out on vinyl, plus a whole bunch of previously unreleased tracks finally getting pressed. I can't keep up with it all, but I'm buying records that I love, and I'm putting them into mixes. The mixes are all recorded digitally, but I also put them on to cassette and create an inlay for them in the style of the old tapes that I used to buy in the 90's.

I thought I'd start adding the links and the tracklists on rolldabeats to share the love and spread the word on some of the new vinyl that's been coming out.

Big respect to all the artists who are making quality jungle and hardcore music and releasing it on vinyl.

Do we know anything about the relationship between these 2 tracks?

i presume sinister was engineered by Marc & Dego for enforcers ep , then later possibly goldie saying something like...

"i like this groove, pad and horn sample, lets use it on my album too".

What's sinister a remix of? there appears to be no 'original'...

	Hey there,

Quite new on the site, as I'm quite new in producing DnB and Jungle.
I've been involved in the Techno scene for 7/8 years, and made a shift to Atmospheric/Intelligent DnB for 2-3 years now. Quite the ride!

I've been producing various tracks in the last two years, and would like to start sharing them with the right audience. I'm focused on Soulful stuff, playing it jazzy between 80 and 85 bpm. In order to avoid the self promo directly here, I've put a link to my first release in my profile for those interested.

Any tips to where should I go to share this kind of music? So far I'm planning to self release 8-10 tracks in the coming months, but I'm definitely interested to get to know the right labels as well.

	Thanks

Since I've been getting back into modern tunes I thought it might be a nice idea to do a regular series of mixes showcasing all the wicked tunes that I've found or lovely people have sent me. Probably going to branch out and do interviews with a few pals in future shows and that kinda thing. Let's see where it ends up.

	Hi all,

My first ever post on here, though this website has been an awesome resource for me, especially in helping ID many of the tracks I used to love back in the day (and have now started buying on vinyl).

This is a bit of a longshot but here goes...

I stupidly threw away almost all of my rave tapes when I moved house about 10 years ago. One was my very first proper hardcore rave tape, the one that kicked it all off for me, I had taped it off a kid in my class at school who told me he had a hardcore version of 'The Snowman' on tape (X Project). It was DJ Pilgrim and I have been trying to find the audio for it online for the past few years. The setlist was similar to the one he did at Fusion Zanies in April 1993 but it is not the same. There was an MC but it was hard to pick out what he was saying as the audio on his mic wasn't great. I didn't recognise him so think he was perhaps lesser known.

I wracked my memory to ID all the tracks and piece together the order which I can remember in sequences as I can remember the mixes:

	Chunk 1

Chaos and Julia Set – Atmosphere (Sub Base Field Mix)

DJ Red Alert and Mike Slammer – Don't Need Your Love

 Essence of Aura – Destiny

DJ Red Alert and Mike Slammer – Ackers

 Wishdokta – Rush Hour

 DJ Mayhem – Cold Acid

 Nookie – Gonna Be Alright

Bizzy B and Peshay – Itch it Up Mi Selecta

Neuromancer – Pennywise (2 Twisted Remix)

	Chunk 2

 Edge of Darkness – Tremor

X Project – Walking in the Air

DJ Red Alert and Mike Slammer – In Effect (he mixed 2 copies of this together here)

Rhythm for Reasons – Grand National '93'

 Durban Poison – Babylon Timewarp

*Also definitely played but not sure where in the order and this is not a sequence*

Smooth but Hazzardous – Push up the Levels

 M-Beat – Junglistic BadBoy

 Johnny Jungle - Johnny

NRG – I Need Your Lovin (Mike Ink Remix)

Nookie – Shining in da Darkness (think this was last track before fade out)

Surely somebody else had this tape?

I would be beyond thrilled if anyone can help.

	Cheers

Ok, so I have been going through some of my old magazine archives recently.

It's all getting a bit confusing so I thought would be an idea to make a master list of magazines that were printed in the 'rave' era. I'll start off with titles and approximate ranges - if others have info to add we can progress from there.
It's been awhile since I've been on here, but I seem to be lost... If I wanted to see the discography for, say Reinforced Records. How would I go about doing that? I feel like that was readily available back in the day.

Has anyone heard of a track called Energy by Code 071? It's from around 1992 and has an amen break with a vocal sample of the word "Energy" repeated multiple times. it was ground breaking in the sense it was not developed from the previous growth of break beat music but from a forward looking perspective of what the music could become which is Drum and Bass.

I have a old file named 'LTJ Bukem - Cosmic Show 1' At first it sounds like a Kiss FM show, but i believe it was a show presented on the Good Looking website, going by tracks played & info mentioned, it dates at around March 2002.
