Looking for this too many years, please help!!!

Thu, 15 Oct 2026 11:50:09 +0000

Hi guys,

I’ve been trying to identify a track for nearly 32 years now. I had it on cassette back in the day, but these are the only clues I remember:

It starts with male vocals, possibly rap-style, sounding something like “disrupta rupta ooohhh haaa ha ha”, which then repeats. After that, a fast piano riff comes in, using a sample from The Turntable Orchestra – “You’re Gonna Miss Me”. The track was melodic, with breakbeats.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. It’s not “DJ Solo feat. DJ Devine – Axis”, although it uses the same piano sample.

Hey guys, new here and trying to find out what track this is at around 30 mins. Every system I check tells me it's amazing - ShyFX, Voltage and Agent Shasco. It is not that when I search for that track. Any help would be much appreciated.

Name That Rave Tune (Round 27)

OK thought I'd skip ahead to the most current installment of Jake's series, only two need to be ID on this one,
I'm drawing blanks as per usual.

04:49 TRACK FOUR (From Wear FM around 90/91)
05:35 TRACK FIVE (From Demon FM, Leicester, 96/97)

Im pretty certain track 5 is two tracks, the Sade - Cherish The Day Jungle Bootleg (It's titled something else no doubt as I cant find it) from around 1995/96 is being mixed into something else, not 100% on that as the recording is a bit 10th gen tape rip sounding lol.

OK ID legends time for another 1, I've decided to go through the list of this series to try and help Jake and his subscribers ID their tracks big up to JJ for solving the last video, absolute legend!
I'll only post a couple a week as to not spam the forum and outstay my welcome, in the meantime I will peruse the forum and try and help others if I can.

OK enough babbling from me, here's the next tune that needs to be solved!

From memory it's a dubplate or white label that Grooverider played at Organik Leeds April 1992

Unknown 1998 happy hardcore track ID – possibly DJ Fade / Blatant Beats?

Fri, 21 Aug 2026 10:19:37 +0000

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to identify a track from an old cassette I recorded from the radio back in 1998. I've been looking for this one for years and recently digitised the tape.

I sent the sample to John Kutski, who said he wasn't sure of the exact track but thought it sounded like Brisk, possibly Brisk & Fade, and mentioned the Blatant Beats sound.

I then sent it to Brisk, who also couldn't identify it but said:

"It does sound like it could be a DJ Fade track, maybe a Silk Cuts release."

I've since checked the Silk Cuts releases and a lot of DJ Fade / Fade & Bananaman material from that period, but haven't found it.

The recording is definitely from 1998 or earlier. The same radio set also contained Hyperaktive – Let Me Play.

There's a female vocal in the unknown track, but I can't make out the lyrics clearly from the cassette recording.

Here's the sample:

Does anyone recognise it, or perhaps recognise the label/producer from the sound? Any help would be massively appreciated — I'd love to finally ID this after nearly 30 years!

Hi guys.
this track, from around 1993–97. I’ve only got a few seconds of it so far. I need to get my deck repaired and find out which MC it’s on. I’d be really grateful if you could help me identify it.

Thanks!

For the ID legends!

Sup guys, hope you all doing amazing? Thought I'd give you a multiple challenge, my buddy Jake from Rave Vinyl Reminiscence posts his subscribers hard to find tracks that they request, some of them are pretty obvious but every now and again he gets some obscure white labels or dubplates that are beyond my realm of expertise, so I thought I'd come to you legends to see if you can help?

The main ones that need to be ID are
01:35 - TRACK ONE
03:25 - TRACK THREE
06:59 - TRACK EIGHT

Any help would greatly appreciated, Jakes a top bloke and runs a great channel, also sorry if this is deemed spam, not my intention, just trying to help him and his subscribers.
