He brought in his buddy Photek to make this release a stunner to start off with. Unfortunatly this release totally failed to make any numbers in the sales charts and that made Rob Solomon decide to directly quit efforts for this new label. PS. AMP001 got some sort of re-release on CERTIFICATE 18 (CERT1842), as your database shows... I read this information in an article about Photek a while ago. Peace out! :roll: Quote

He's supposed to be doing an LP for Certificate 18, but then he's supposed to have been doing that for at least 2 years. Who knows whether it will ever appear?! Crying shame about the Amplitude release ? a total classic! In fact all of Rob's records are classics. A hugely under-rated producer I think. PS. It should be Ipswich not Ipswitch. Quote
jake Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 yeah, i've got this one, but i think my copy is a mispress. it's only one sided. the sleeve has a stamp on it that credits the release to certificate 18, but the catalogue number is AMP001. Quote
