rosc0 Posted January 7, 2004 Author Report Posted January 7, 2004 I figure that would be the best to do...Wish i could ID the other plates aswell, but this is the only one that's so obvious. Who knows... The truth shall rise one day! Peace R. Quote
jj Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 The A Side on VDL1 is the same as Peshay & Roger Johnson - See The Light on 2000 AD Recordings so presumably they had something to do with the AA Side as well. Both tunes are from 1993. I know that Peshay's & Roger Johnson's record on 2000 AD didn't get released until November/December 93 (despite Gangster and In My Soul being played by the likes of Bukem back in March/April 93) so I reckon VDL1 came out before the 2000 AD release. Ornette Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 http://www.rolldabea...reetbeats/vdl5/ Ok, so this is where we get The Truper from for this release... There's no details though, and can't be certain who the artist is? Although Basement Phil's comments on the label:"I arranged to meet Rupert... ...the result was he brought me 12 awesome tunes. All of these were released on these 10" slabs along with tracks by Roger Johnson & Criminal Mindz."http://www.discogs.c...el=Street+Beats Quote
