Logic Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Okay. My TI004 has a logo on the label that lists the label name PRECISELY this way: Technical 'Itch Even at the bottom of the label it says, "Recorded at Technical 'Itch Studios 1995" (so you should probably add the release date on TI004 as 1995). I don't have any later releases so I don't know if the name was later shortened to just Tech Itch, but this release (and I think the earlier releases) clearly list the label name as Technical 'Itch with the apostrophe. :?: :?: Also, the label for this release is ambiguous, but my guess is that "The Spice" is the artist name for both the A) and AA) sides, and the EP name is "Phaktor One" Both tunes are produced by M. Caro & S. Johnson, so they = The Spice (is S. Johnson maybe Steve Johnson from Sonic Experience?) Quote
Logic Posted June 2, 2004 Author Report Posted June 2, 2004  Sorry, that was one of my more inarticulate moments.... Quote

Phokus Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Well I'm guessing the inspiration for the name is Technical Hitch, so the apostrophe would make sense. Quote
thijs Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 could anyone verify the s. johnson from the spice being steve johnson? Quote
Logic Posted June 2, 2004 Author Report Posted June 2, 2004 could anyone verify the s. johnson from the spice being steve johnson? I'm not sure that'll be possible to verify. TI004 was the only release for The Spice, and the label just says S. Johnson. I suppose we could scour other T.I. releases and see if there's any mention of S. Johnson on them :? Quote
