Similar to the original but with different bass. The tape I have only has the intro and like 5 seconds after the drop before the tape ends, so it's hard to say how different this was. Maybe there's another tape of it out there somewhere? Can do a clip if necessary

It sounds like the end of side 2 on the Kenny Ken tape from AWOL 'Live In London Volume 1' 6 pack May 94. I'll have a look this weekend and see if I have a tape where the tune is played for longer.

There's another version which is basically the released mix minus the "What'cha gonna do Baby" vocal. Played on dubplate around May 1994. There's also the mid / summer 1995 remix with the MC Five-O vocal.

I can't recall now if that's the same mix as the one I was talking about. The version I was on about had a different bassline from the original, but the b-line on this mix sounds like the original until the ragga vox come in. Anyway, it's probably the same one I was on about.

 

For future info as well, this mix also samples Bounty Killer:
