root Posted July 4, 2004 Report Posted July 4, 2004 Now i know it's one of the unspoken things around here, but i feel with advertising this site could bring in enough revenue to really push the boundaries. Possibly have a user friendly system that means you can choose to have the advertising switched to "ON" in some kinda user setup thing (obv cookie based, like forum) which is default to off. I know i would turn it on to earn some money for this place Quote

With the generous donations we received from several users, we were able to afford a few necessities for the site relaunch. We're gonna be pushing TONS of boundaries with the new site without a speck of cash from advertising. Trust me. 8) Quote
