Sappo - Keep On (2002)

for example fabio used to play this quite a few times on his radio1 show during the summer/autumn of 2002. had an instrumental and a vocal version too, and was supposed to come out on V - i remember i saw it on tarzan as well, but got erased as the release schedule changed...

 

what happened to it? why have they dropped it? were any TPs pressed of it?

simple tune, but worked well for me...

Fabio would play the instrumental version of Keep On in March and April 2002 - this is the exact version that ended up releasing on V Recs in 2005

Then in August 2002 the track reappears in Fabio shows, this time as a Vocal Mix, played until about December 2002 - not only this version features new vocals but it's got a fair amount of small production changes

Not sure who the vocalist is..

There's another, lesser known version of this tune that was found on a dubplate cut for Grooverider, labeled "Sappo" with no song title.

The plate has Total Science - Sat There on the flip meaning this version was produced well after the vocal mix. End of 2002 or maybe the start of 2003. It's not known for certain if this is a Sappo VIP or someone else's remix

I have a lot of rider shows on file but I've never found him playing this on air (or anyone else for that matter, so any info on this would be appreciated).

Finally, for some reason the Vocal Mix got cut to dubplate for Tongue & Groove on 2003-08-29, a whole year after it was previewed. That's the last time anyone's heard of this version
