haste Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I don't think that Bailey saying that is any proof of this. DJs get things wrong all the time, especially when they're playing dubs/whites or are going on vaguely remembered details. I don't see why Regulate has to be an alias, I always thought it was just someone like Bert - a guy who was a mate of Dilllinja's and made a couple of tunes with him. Quote
thijs Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 sent an email to valve recs. not expecting anything, but you never know! Quote
Ornette Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 I always thought Regulate was Lemon D????? It seems that your hunch is the one that is turning out to be correct... Quote
Phokus Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 I think that Regulate = Lemon D. I've read before that Lemon D's early stuff was engineered by Dillinja (I think it says that in the Metalheadz Platinum Breakz CD booklet) and i've heard that they were next-door neighbours for a while... If it was Lemon D under an alias, it would fit with the fact that Regulate used to bigup Dillinja on the radio for the engineering and stuff... Why would Dillinja engineer Regulate's stuff (1995-97) if it Regulate were Lemon D when Lemon D had been putting out tracks himself since 1992? In fact, he was even engineering for other people (eg, J Majik on Planet Earth, also rumoured to have done Your Sound on Headz for him too...) Quote
Ornette Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 JJ, whats your take on this? You were able to confirm some stuff about Mr. E / Mystery being an old alias of Regulate. Do you think its possible its actually Lemon D???? Quote
eXtreme Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 i thought this was put to bed last year  my view, going by sound Lemon D would be the last person it could be! Quote
