Java Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Now, I've heard the original and it has a pretty standard beat and typical Congo Natty bassline. On a set I've heard a different version which has a completely mad amen mash up on it, have no idea which set it is though After doing a bit of research I come across this one, which I have never heard before and also isn't on the RDB database, so I've only come to assume that its the one with an amen.If anyone knows any more please let me know, or upload a clip if possible, would love to here this one if it's the one I'm thinking of! DJ Influence Posted August 12, 2005 Report Posted August 12, 2005 The unknown tune on the B-side of this: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/jungle_fashion/jft002 is infact a jungle mix of Sensi Crisis by Nerious Joseph and is deffo not by Sweetie Irie. Might be the tune you looking for. Quote
spoox Posted August 13, 2005 Report Posted August 13, 2005 After doing a bit of research I come across this one, which I have never heard before and also isn't on the RDB databas There's 2 Congo Natty versions of the tune: 1 released on the 2001 LP (Lion in the Jungle), called "Sess Jungle"http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/congo_natty/cnlp2 1 released on the 2001 CD (Tribute to H.S.I.), called "Sensi Crisis" (or assumed to be called that since it was without a tracklisting)http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/congo_natty/cncd1 The first is aka "the London town mix", as it has some Big Ben samples in it, and is the one you claim isn't in RDB Quote
Java Posted August 18, 2005 Author Report Posted August 18, 2005 It's not that spoox, I wasn't sure if it was the same version or not. The version I'm looking for is possibly the one that DJ Influence is talking about, where the B side is labelled as ?? yet is a jungle mix of Sensi Crisis . . . Still don't know if it's the one with the mad amen in it! http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/congo_natty/cnlp2This release I've heard, and its just the one I was talking about in my first post, standard beat, typical Congo Natty b-line.
