hmmm... do you think thats by ltj bukem himself as the "aayah haoya haah" sample sound VERY familier like the one thats in atmospheric jubliancy?

also on the subject of atmospheric jubliancy , I found an old eternity mag the other day from april 94 and it goes on about that tune being on a black label testpress from some guys in portsmouth or southamption??

will dig it out and type in the whole paragraph even though it's very long because thats why I haven't done it yet ,lazy bastard eh?

Bukem describes the tune as "atmospherical jubilancy" - this doesn't mean it's called "atmospherical jubilancy". This review is from Eternity issue 20 (August 1994) and isn't referring to a tune he played back in 1993. The tune he's reviewing will be something like Heavyweight Volume 2AA.

Just a thought, but the children wailing sample sounds like Voodoo Ray by Guy called Gerald chopped up somewhat. This track sounds closer to Voodoo Ray than Atmospherical Jubilancy, but I suspect they could both possibly of lifted and chopped up the children wailing from Voodoo Ray....

What'd you think?

Here we go. Here's the paragraph (in Eternity magazine #20, August 1994):

"BLACK LABEL
Received in the post with no info. I think it's coming out of Bournemouth. These guys have taken a well known beat from the old school, F.X.'ed it, chopped it, added some clever little drum hits and obscure galactic like sounds, to make a quite original fresh beat. This opens proceeding, then about a quarter of the way into the track breaks down into a string which I can only describe as 'atmospherical jubliancy', shuffling in and out of the string and drums to the end. Some signs of techno creeping in. What's it called?
"

This 'black label' also features in his top ten from the same issue.... Have we figured out which one he's talking about as yet?
