maxstile Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Can anyone ID this please? One of the earlier jungle tunes I remember and not really heard it since, so maybe a bit hard to get an I.D of it. Features a Jamaican sample saying "Junglists Run (or Round) De Country" and also has this nice Soul / Raregroove Sample with a vocal "Ohhh, Ohhh, I'm Sooo, Ohhh" link fixed > CLIP Quote
DJ Influence Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Can't get the link to work or clip to play Quote

Logic Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 I can't confirm this in any way, but if I had to guess I'd say it's probably this tune. It sounds like the kinda style that was on Boogie Beat at the time What set is it from? Quote
Guest animals_junk Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 -yep - it's run de country on boogie beat... the rare groove sample is from the next tune - just cuts it over ... engineered by FT - sonds like his tunes from flying fish (body tune up rmx, etc...) Quote
maxstile Posted May 12, 2006 Author Report Posted May 12, 2006 big thanks to you both! now i just gotta try to track it down.... that track name (run de country) was so obvious i didnt even think or trying to search for that  logic, the clip is just from an old pirate tape. comes from when i first discovered pirates and jungle, so fond memories.
