Synthetic Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 If I remember correctly there was some difference between the promo and release version of the Slow Motion LP on Infrared. Does anyone have the details? Quote
Synthetic Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 Upate: The promo version has 8 tracks instead of 10. Plate 1 and Plate 3 are the same while plate two has 2 tracks instead of 4. Quote
Phokus Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 which two tracks are missing from plate two? Quote
Synthetic Posted February 28, 2010 Author Report Posted February 28, 2010 I am going from memory but I can confirm that "Organized Crime" is not there. Quote
Synthetic Posted May 18, 2010 Author Report Posted May 18, 2010 Side D has the Silicon Valley remix and is missing Organized Crime while the C side has the track called either Day Break or Final Approach. It is the hard track which appeared on some versions of the Platinum Breaks CD and also on the 12 track CD version of Slow Motion. Quote
Synthetic Posted February 24, 2011 Author Report Posted February 24, 2011 Will this never make it to the database? Quote
Phokus Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Until recently there was only one person putting in releases into the database - quite easy for posts to slip through the net! Any idea which of the two possible tracks (Daybreak or Final Approach) is on it? Neither of these appear to be on the 12-track CD, as you mention (http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/infrared_records/infracd001/). Quote
Phokus Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Ah, no matter, I've found the info here: http://www.discogs.com/J-Majik-Slow-Motion/release/1372006 Quote
Synthetic Posted February 28, 2011 Author Report Posted February 28, 2011 This is actually my update on Discogs. Other people who were submitting the various Platinum Breakz releases to Discogs call the hard track which appeared on some versions "Daybreak". There is considerable debate regarding this track and its name but it is not something I have delved deeply into. All that I can confirm is that it is the harder techstep track which appears on the promo version of the album. Quote
