haste Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Unknown white label release. Ragga jungle style FD001A: ???B1:???B2: ??? Sounds like 1994 to me Quote
Ornette Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 http://www.rolldabea...te_label/fd001/ Looks like this one should be added to Third Eye with Sky Joose as the artist Someone's mentioned they have a copy with "Watch The Ride" written on one side (which matches the vocal on side A) and "Golden Hen Remix" on the other (speculative, just samples some reggae with the same Golden Hen riddim) Maybe Mr Geese / STG can clarify? Here's some clips of the 12"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7d9RoOSi-R8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9MH67CsO-chttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5akZiUxr4s0 Quote
STG Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 Yeah, those three Youtube vids are from the same WL mentioned above. Has his style of production written all over it, and it's similiar sounding to his Tales of Darkness WL release. Not too sure on the track names, mine has nothing handwritten on it. Quote
Mr_Geese Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 1995 feb mampi swift played this on plate, so who knows Quote
Ornette Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 What about the 'other' FD001, does that exist or is that just a mix up? And which is the one also known as 'Voodoo' Quote
Mr_Geese Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 yes that one also exsists, probably has nothing to do with skyjoose pbb or sidyoung, im not sure if that voodoo track is the correct name ive brought it twice and it's always been a plain wl, sounds alot later like 99 98 maybe, if your ever out and about and see an fd001 and you got no way of playing it the way to tell them apart is the good fd001 track list is a1 b1 b2, the shit one is a1 a2 b1 or could be aa1 Quote
vetoe13 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Yeah I got screwed on this one. I ordered FD001 from a seller and instead of getting the tunes above I got a 3 tracker with tunes that sound like they came out in 96' maybe 97'. Heavy "Life Could" breaks and some vocals. Not a bad release. I actually used one tune in a mix this past summer. Neverthelss though I was disappointed about not getting what I actually wanted. Quote
