artist name numbering

i got a suggestion from one guy about the numbering of artist names.

 

for example http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/cujo and http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/cujo_2

 

 

is it possible to parse out the brackets and the integer inside them from artist name? link would still be the same 'cujo_2' but users could only see the name 'cujo'.

Wouldn't that be pretty confusing? There would then be no distinction between the different artists on their page.

 

Cujo 1 & 2 would be meaningless and everyone would think that they were the same artist
