MR RINSE Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 an old dnb tape i had from around the time lk came out. (2002) ish. Was a dj probe 94.6 radio tape. but there was one singing tune.... I was reminded of it just now because of listening to a similar tune, very minimal on the beats and bass, but before liquid really. I think it had the pink floyd sample and - "yes yes" - but with lots more singing. So much more singing than I've ever heard from the sample I recognised, if that makes sense. (The reminder tune was the jill scott jspot rmx) Thanks, its a really vague description, sorry Quote
MR RINSE Posted December 27, 2011 Author Report Posted December 27, 2011 also, jill scott had nothing to with the id im after, just the same style Quote

eze g Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Hi, Does the time to let go sample sound anything like this http://www.rolldabea...ordings/dread3/or thishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHoJb8z7EEg Quote
shabtronic Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 The classic "Time to let go Sample" is from Mary J blige's - Be Happy - it's used in a number of D'n'B/Jungle/House tracks - I only know one "Intense - Ecstatic" but I know it's on a lot more. Hope that helps. Quote

recoil Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 might be on Dread or something Ray Keith had a hand in (he liked that Yes Yes sample) - I'm pretty sure I had this at some point - 99 or so but sold it not long after Quote
