Version with Currents Original There seems to have been 2 different versions of the Marsin Out mix online over the years, the first one online in the early 2000's that the tracklistings were done for has the original version of 'Sounds Of Life – Currents' the mix transitions on both versions are different.. this version also doesn't have the 'hypnosis' intro part. Records sound cleaner on this version. Im not sure of the origin of this recording, this was the version i had for download on Hardscore for years. Version With Currents Remix After buying a cassette a few years ago, i replaced the download on hardscore with the better quality recording - this version has the currents remix & intro. this is the version of the mix you can find on youtube & mixcloud etc.. I didnt notice that it was different! You can hear dubplate crackle & hiss on this one. Has anyone else noticed this before? both versions sound like they are Bukem mixes, if someone had made a tribute mix (the version with currents original) they done a good job of it - and it would have been the first version we found online. Checked the mix in my Yaman folder and it's the version with the intro and Currents Remix and I downloaded it in 2003. In a soulseek folder I've got the mix with Currents Original which I downloaded in 2004. Looks like both mixes were available online around the same time. My original tapes have the intro and Currents remix. Quote
