cherry412 Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 Duress (Swift & Pascal) - Dedicated (1996) Dedicated is an unreleased Swift & Pascal track produced in late 1996. It was found on a dubplate cut for Kenny Ken with "True P's" written on the label, so it's possible that this was supposed release on True Playaz at first. According to this scan, it may also have been planned to release on Charge in 1997 alongside Under Duress (another unreleased Duress track). This thread contains more discussion about the track. Played at: Kenny Ken @ Dreamscape 23 [1996-11-30] (clip below) DJ Hype @ KISS 100 FM [1996-10-30] DJ Ron @ Rippin Up The Underground [1997-03] Easy D? @ Hysteria 13? [1997-04-12] (audio may be from a different set.. but 29:19 in this upload) Agent K @ Cyndicut 100.4FM [1997-07-13] Not to be confused with DJ Kane - Dedication (Dubplate Mix) which uses the same "Dedicate" sample and debuted a couple months before Dedicated did. cherry412 Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 Duress (Swift & Pascal) - Under Duress (1997) Unreleased Swift & Pascal collaboration that was planned to be an early Charge release according to Atmosphere issues #37 and #38. It was found on a dubplate labeled "Swift Pascal Under Duress", and on another where it's simply labeled "Roller" (this is the one from bamz list). This thread contains more discussion about the track. Played at: Marvellous Cain @ One Nation 'The Valentines Experience Part 4' [1997-02-15] Marvellous Cain @ Planet Rock Promotions [1997-??-??] (clip below) Mampi Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1997-02-09] Jumpin Jack Frost @ KISS 100 FM [1997-05-14] Quote

(1996) Kenny Ken played a different unknown track (may or may not be Pascal) with the same "Dedicate" sample in August 1996 @ Ruffneck Ting 3rd Birthday. It's not known for sure if this track is a different version of Dedicated or not. More details here: That's not Dedicated - it's DJ Kane - Definition (Dubplate Mix) Quote

cherry412 Posted June 19 Report Posted June 19 On 6/16/2026 at 9:21 PM, jj said: Atmsophere Issue 36 Atmosphere Issue 37 Atmosphere Issue 39 Atmosphere Issue 40 So based on these we have the following unknowns: Under Duress - Untitled Issue #36 lists Dedicated (a Swift + Pascal aka. Duress track) under CHRG 002 - then in issue #37 it's replaced by an Untitled. Also the artist is now "Under Duress" rather than "Duress" as originally it was in #36. This is either still referring to Dedicated, or it's a different unknown track. Mampi Swift - Devoted Listed in issue #38, planned for CHRG 003 b/w The One. Replaced by Journey on issue #39. The Craft - Untitled Listed in issue #38, planned for CHRG 004 b/w Hi-Tek. Replaced with Mission by issue #39. Either this is The Mission before it had a title or it's a different unknown track. Mampi Swift / ATG - Stretched Listed in issues #42 and #43 as a Mampi Swift track planned for CHRG 006 b/w Sonic. Listed in issue #44 again as an ATG track planned for CHRG 007 b/w Siesta. Ace / ATG - Siesta Listed in issues #42, #43 and #44 planned for CHRG 007. In #42 and #43 it was listed as an Ace track b/w A Touch Of J, in #44 it was an ATG track b/w Stretched. ATG - Change Listed in issues #43 and #44 planned for CHRG 008. ------------------------ Other roster changes, observations: Issue #36 lists Load and Soul as forthcoming releases, although doesn't specify if they're supposed to be on CHRG 001 or not. Maybe True Playaz snapped the single up before it could release on Charge. Issue #36 mentions Ace and the Trespassers, although neither name ended up being used on releases in the end Swift mentions Trespassers during a Kool FM show on 1997-01-26 while playing a unreleased Trespassers track titled Wonder. He calls the Trespassers a "new group for the 97" and although he doesn't reveal who else is in the group, he then gives a shout out to DJ Buz. Issue #37 lists Soundcraft as a forthcoming Mampi Swift track on CHRG 003 and the Just Roll VIP as a Mampi Swift track also. Just Roll VIP would end up releasing on CHRG 002 instead as The Kraft. This version of CHRG 003 and Soundcraft were dropped and replaced by the The One by issue #38. Issue #38 is the first appearance of The Kraft, spelled "The Craft" at first and planned to debut on CHRG 004 with Hi-Tek. This issue was printed before CHRG 002 came out (first actual The Kraft release). By issue #39 and onward it would be spelled as "The Kraft". Issue #38, #39, #40, #41, #42 list Hi-Tek as a The Kraft track, despite it having released as Mampi Swift. It's Out Now by #42, but still listed as The Kraft. Also in all of these issues it's spelled "Hi-Tec". Issue #40 lists CHRG 004 twice, though It's safe to assume the second one was meant to be CHRG 005. Issue #40 lists Sonic as a The Kraft track set to release on CHRG 005 (mistakenly written as CHRG 004). In the next issue #41 it's replaced by Future on CHRG 005 and disappears from the roster. It returns in issue #42 and #43 as a Mampi Swift track set to release on CHRG 006 b/w Stretched. By issue #44 it was changed to b/w Touch Of J instead and it released on CHRG 006 as such. Issue #42 and #43 list Touch of J as an Ace track spelled "A Touch Of J" to b/w Siesta on CHRG 007. By issue #44 it was moved to CHRG 006 set to release as a Mampi Swift track and released as such. Issue #43 and #44 list Nasty as set to release on CHRG 008, b/w Change. Nasty would later release CHRG 007 b/w Do It. It seems that a whole single was wiped out there as the Long Life EP took the CHRG 008 slot. Quote

Since we know there's no Swift EP on True Playaz around that time it could explain the fate of a few of these mid to late 2000 tracks.. Hype played this Unknown track with hoovers on air around the same time. And Unknown "Rolla" was once played by Zinc so maybe it's part of this group of tracks also. Quote

cherry412 Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 Swift - Reality (Unreleased Version) (1995) Most notable difference is the pre-drop vocal sample which was taken out for release. I've also heard a dubplate clip of an unreleased Reality version that had a much longer intro. Not yet sure if that's the same as the radio clip though. More information to follow.. Also tracklisted as "Dubplate Mix". Played at: Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1995-05-27] (clip below) Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1995-07-15] Ray Keith @ Meditation 1 - 'The Deepest Jungle' [1995-07-15] Quote
cherry412 Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 Swift - From The T.O.P. (ft. MC Navigator) (Mix 1) (1995) Early version of Feels Good with a lot of differences. The intro sample that plays under the vocal was removed from the release version, drops re-written, overall layout re-arranged. Title confirmed by Randall during his 1995-09-27 KISS 100 FM show. Contains MC Navigator vocal sample. Played at: Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1995-08-??] DJ Ron & DJ SL @ Kool 94.5 FM [1995-08-25] Randall @ KISS 100 FM [1995-09-27] Kenny Ken @ KISS 100 FM [1995-08-09] (clip below) Swift - From The T.O.P. cherry412 Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 Swift - Believe (1996) Title confirmed by Swift during his 1996-02-17 Kool 94.5 FM show. It was found on a dubplate labeled "Menasm", probably referring to the Mentasm Hoover Swift sampled for the intro and breakdown. Played at: Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1996-02-17] (clip below) Quote
cherry412 Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 Swift - Sound Like That (1996) Not sure about the exact spelling of the title. The sample says "sound like that", though it's been referred to as "Sounds Like That" also. Played at: DJ Hype @ KISS 100 FM [1996-04-10] (clip below) Quote
cherry412 Posted June 22 Report Posted June 22 Swift & Pascal - It's Over (Unreleased Version) (1996) Unreleased version of It's Over with a different midsection. Strings and amen are missing and the bass melody from the breakdown is played over the drop section before the breakdown. Can be heard in this dubplate clip on kid-b's SoundCloud, presumably labeled 'Beatz'. Played at: Nicky Blackmarket @ Kool 94.5 FM [1996-08-25] Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1996-10-20] (clip below) Quote

cherry412 Posted June 22 Report Posted June 22 Trespassers - Wonder (1997) Swift reveals the artist and track title during a Kool FM show on 1997-01-26. He calls the Trespassers a "new group for the 97" and although he doesn't reveal who else is in the group, he then gives a shout out to DJ Buz. Swift most likely took part in production, as the track shares elements with his other work from late 1996 and early 1997. A Charge promo in Atmosphere issue #36 mentions Trespassers as having future releases planned, so it's possible that Wonder was slated for release on Charge. It was also found on a dubplate b/w Behold labeled "DJ Swift Wonder". Played at: Mampi Swift @ Kool 94.5 FM [1997-01-26] (clip below) Couldn't find source for the Kool FM audio so using @jj's clip of it Quote
