Around 98/99 i picked up a couple of white labels.
one sampled this portishead track from the start. not the lyrics. and (although i cant be sure) might have included some godfather samples
or maybe they were on the flip?
i no longer have them tunes sadly
any ideas?

on Rock Dat Shit by L Double there seemed to be "more" of this sample where he says "sorry badboy - this is too much" and laughs a bit more. or was that on the original aswell?

Foals are great, I picked up their first album but only listened to the second a couple of times. I see they've had a third one, should probably give that a spin too!

I think most of the best stuff was 97 to be honest, or even 96
Can't think of too much great from 1998... so will look forward to others recommendations
