Fairly likely that they're not sampled. The main vocal was recorded for the tune, wasn't it? Would have thought that those were as well if that was the case

 

i thought that....but theres no clean version of it on the record and i can't find any trace of an acapella, so i wonder how the samples were obtained (they are in one of the energizers i do believe?)

You can def hear the vocal in that video at 0:18. Is the Jodeci tune the same thing as this but without Father MC?

 

 

i downloaded jodeci- it's alright from iTunes. Obviously a completely different tune to the lyrics described herewhich bare similarity to the Father MC track. Frustrating!

 

oh well, just have to try and track down a copy of the Father MC EP which has an instrumental version of it, as well as the Jodeci tune, the only version of it i can locate seems to be on this LP though. I'm hoping the sample is going to be on the Father MC instrumental
