quayside records was started about 1991 its was a project that followed on from friends radio which i started in 1989 the radio had become something way above what i had set out to gain but was also a good learning tool.quayside records was put in place as another outlet for my music. formula 7 was the first part of the quayside puzzle and the first artist on the quayside label in conjunction with Bizzy B.The first release was formula 7 it's not just ragga and then the next few where remixes of that etc.The label grew with new artist dj bones opium T.D.K steve B Nicky blackmarket Dj Ruffkutt Wizz kidd &producer PEP dj troublesome T rok&j dub i took on some new names to build my label up djbones and me became madbones sytem 4 was me and so it went on i feel my label is a big part of the uk dance sceane and i have the most respect for my artists for without them i would not have such a good label
