  1. Hey ornette, weltall, well its in both orig and foul play mixes on the first break down with the piano, it comes in on top of that and rolls along till the amen again. Im aware that the kool and gang break is used first but its not that one i mean. Thanks guys
  2. Come on surely someone knows that break i just wanna comfirm it
  3. Hmm hard Ornette. Maybe uses the kick and snare only from the third brk on mantronix.
  4. Ok so i feel the need to id this break that sits on top of the piano in the first break down. i think it may be sister sanctified editied some. Help please
  5. I dont hear it in there mate, i hear the sl2 drum beat being used in half bar measures from bar 1 with the amen pitched up and then half bar of sl2. That is used with fx in the piano section too. The beat you are talking about i dont know mate. i have the mantronix vinyl and theres 3-4 beats to lift off it. Howevcer, i do here a loop under the amen with a funky character and a rim shotty snare. but that aint clean any where. in theis vid at 36 seconds you hear it under amen. @36s
  6. Yeah i know the break it was also used in legend records - adrenalin along with a 4-4 kick. I dont think its in renegade snares remix tho mate.
  7. Oops space gladiator - i have lots of bars of this with diff elements added if anyone wants it
  8. Renegade sounwave on the flip of phantom, beats are clean and first use of them too i believe
  9. Ornette - was the reinfoeced tune called - fall like rain - method of madness mix? It is the same except the hip hop record it was taken from has a bit of a rolling bass line along with those 2 bars. This beat im after was released on a hip hop compilation in 2007 i seen it on telly but didnt take note, went to the cogs to find a swamp of hip hop comps at that time. gutted almost had the original there
  10. ok im getting close on this one. The break that backs up those amens on legend records is Both Eyes Open by Lucille Brown and Billy Clark However it is a second or third or whatever generation break? It was listening to Dj ileagle - crazy and it put me on to it after realising the beats were same. Very close and very happy
  11. Pretty sure its just the amen break mate. panned to one side much like ltj bukem did. Then a few other elements along with it rendered and then editied. Heres one i did when i used reason for first few times no laughing you lot!!!!!
  12. I have that break on bay b kane kitkat take a break cd. If anyone wants it
  13. Either that or badder than evil (orig source)

  15. So great news you have danger 1 mate. any chance of a rip onto mediafire or another host. we all gagging for this....drool you will make lots of friends
  16. Still hunting this one....i thought id found it in the recorded drum kit sessions, but no....
  17. I do believe hotpants is in there too or is that tother side? one my favs from basement records. btw i spoke to mr smooth a while back and he said he doesnt know who made that ratty tune from 93 with the same style stab as innovators....so the hunt goes on...
  18. This break was being used in 92 aswell not that it narrows it down any lol. Its in this sudden def - method to my madness - The breask starts around 18 seconds in. It's still 2 bar long but being used with the roll in the first break.
  19. Lol yes Ornette i do believe you are right fella, 3rd gen it is. It was 2nd gen as far a success n effect but being used by Frankie makes it a 3rd gen. So then, what with the mantronix amen being borrowed from kurtis mantronix for the roll it up track, does that then make it 4th gen i wonder. The only new bits along with the roll it up track being the 808 bass and a few other elements. It's got me wondering how far to go with this 1, 2,3 generation thing. Nice one though Ornette for the input.
  20. Break name: Janet's revenge Artist: Frankie Bones Track name: Janet's revenge Original release: Frankie "Bones"* Presents Bonesbreaks ‎– Volume 5 - The Original Raw & Raunchy Beats For DJ's Label: Underworld Records Cat number: AP 144 Year: 1990 Drummer: Samples Also available on: Non that i know Examples: The Ellis Dee project - dance factor Orig and rennie p remix The Egyptian empire - horn track Bribe ep and many many more As Ornette pointed out the original use of the amen break seems to come from Success n Effect - Roll it up (Fat mix) along with a snippet from 2 in rhythm - happy magic. I did say though that i built a very similar break using the mantronix amen break and 808 bass along with the snippet from 2 in rhythm - happy magic. Heres my version and original version plus a snippet from 2 in rhythm Frankie bones - http://www.mediafire..._bones_amen.wav my version lol - http://www.mediafire...1b8q/my_brk.wav snippet - http://www.mediafire...enter_piece.wav
  21. Nice one Ornette, i'll post that one up in the "found" breaks pages. All the best fella.
