So, I don't know if this has been brought to the RDB forum's attention, but what about FB and Soundcloud compatibility? What I mean for FB is adding "like" buttons for FB pages of artists featured on RDB. Furthermore, including Soundcloud accounts as well. (Myspace has sort of become old, electronic artists are now moving to Soundcloud!) Just a suggestion. Let me know what you think! -Faulk

I use the Mixed In Key software and its very useful when I dj. Up to this point, I know it seems strenuous to do almost every song in the RDB database, but I think it will be well worth it for useful information. I also like the idea on the "search" function by key, I think it would make searching for tunes a hell of a lot easier than just sifting around for hours hearing music. Thus far, I think the harmonic key option should just be another feature that should be displayed by each song of an artist. If a harmonic key is missing, unknown, or wrong, it should be edited like any other thing on the RDB database (such as adding an artist's new info, myspace page, label..etc) As for the key and its change in speed, it shouldnt really matter. Obviously the harmonic key pitch is going to change if the BPM is altered, but with its original BPM and Key, it shouldnt really matter because shift BPM doesnt affect the next track being mixed into the set. Its key change will also shift for accommodation of the speed. So, the original key at whatever original set BPM is what is most important in knowing. -F

Actually, I was just thinking about this idea recently. I think it would give RDB a lot of credibility if we did this. It might be a strenuous move, but I think its a great idea and should be kept in mind.

Werd. Basically. The tunes for Rolf Maier-Bode (Manitou 1): are the techno/trance tunes like his album "Manitou in Africa", tracks like "Ever Means Never", "Igor", "Inertia", and "OK Party People." Now, (Manitou 2) consisting of Tom Quick, Andy Wood, should be credited for "waiting" and all the remixes, "melt" and its remixes, and the A-Sides (a.k.a Sci-Clone RMX), and the "We ain't finished yet" track.
