free4orm
Sorry to be kinda anal (aren't we all? if not, what'd be the point of this whole forum, innit?), but I don't think that's the proper source, since this horn section melody is used also by King Tubby in his "Rude Boy Dub" as the intro, and it is clean, crystal clear. From King Tubby Presents the Roots Of Dub, Clock Tower Records, 1976... prolly a repress, being a canadian label, but who knows...
dabbler
is also called "opposition dub" the original track is produced by Jah Thomas http://www.dancehallmusic.de/riddimbase/qu...aName&go=go without having heard the DnB tune in question, I would also assume it was sampled from the Roots Radic and/or Tubby version http://www.amazon.com/Jah-Thomas-Meets-Roo...s/dp/B000020696 http://www.amazon.com/Inna-Roots-Meets-Tub...493&sr=1-20 there is no tracklisting, but the second link is the album credited to Tubby. Both the Radic and Tubby version sound identical, I'm not sure if tubby was a member of roots radic maybe?

Roots Radics was a studio band and did a lot of work with King Tubby and the Scientist in Tubby's studio
