The team here at Different Drumz are proud to introduce the long awaited return of The DDz DJ Competition and this time round its bigger than ever!

 

We will be rewarding a selection of DJs that provide the best entries with a wide range of goodies including a Korg MIDI controller, T-Shirts, radio shows and more so if your are a Drum & Bass DJ, what are you waiting for? GET INVOLVED!

How To Enter

 

To enter simply record and send us your best Drum & Bass mix. The mix must be 60 minutes long and include a full tracklist. It will also have to be a new and original mix put together by YOU using Turntables, CDJ’s or Serato etc .. No pre recorded sets or auto mixing/beat matching software!

 

The mixes will be judged on technical ability / technique, tune selection and the general flow of the mix. We are expecting the standard of the entries to be very high so make sure its your best before you send it in!

1st Place will receive:

 

- A KORG nano KONTROL 2 USB MIDI Controller

- A weekly 2hr radio show on www.differentdrumz.co.uk including the first 3 months of subs covered.

- A full artist profile page on the DDz website including links to your artist facebook and soundcloud pages etc.

- A Different Drumz T-Shirt

- Your mix added to the DDz Audio Archives and Downloads page

 

2nd Place will receive:

 

- A weekly 2hr radio show on www.differentdrumz.co.uk including the first 2 months of subs covered

- A full artist profile page on the DDz website including links to your artist facebook and soundcloud pages etc.

The closing date for the DDz DJ Competition has now been announced and there is not much time to get your entries in!!

 

- The closing date for you to submit your mix is Sunday 22nd of September at 12 midnight!

 

- The winners will be announced on Monday 30th September!

 

This means you have just 2 weeks to send in your mixes to be entered into the competition for your chance to win a whole host of goodies including a KORG nano KONTROL 2 USB MIDI Controller, DDz merchandise, a slot on different drumz radio & much more!

A massive thank you to all the DJ’s / Artists that got involved and sent your mixes into The Different Drumz DJ Competition 2013, This competition is now closed.

 

We have had a long and tricky task trying to choose our winners for the competition this time round and have listened to many quality entries, so much so that we have had to create a 4th place prize winner!!!

 

THE WINNERS OF THE DIFFERENT DRUMZ DJ COMPETITON 2013 WILL BE ANNOUNCED TONIGHT DURING OUR LIVE BROADCASTS BETWEEN 6-10PM(GMT)

 

THE RUNNERS UP WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING THE LIQUID DATABASS SHOW WITH MR LEGACY BETWEEN 6-8PM(GMT)

 

THE WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING THE THURSDAY SESSIONS SHOW WITH MR NITRO BETWEEN 8-10PM(GMT)
