Here are a couple for you though.... "Your Love" stab noise: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LavwXflG43M Everybody In The Place bassline: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QkGg_QCD2TI The 'other' synth on Charly (the one that comes in over the top of the mentasm riff) is from a Frank De Wulf / B Sides tune (can't remember which) I'm sure one of the other sounds in Out of Space is from an old Belgian tune too!
Now I think about it, it was more the Jilted Generation album I was thinking of to be honest. Agreed on 'Girls', and anything is better than that Pendulum-esque turd they released the other week!
There are LOADS of synth sounds in Prodigy tunes that are samples. You just have to know the original tunes they're sampled from in order to recognise them. One that springs to mind is The Heat, The Energy on the Jilted Generation album which samples Lil Louis - I Called You (Why'd u Fall) I agree, it is almost certainly a sample from Homicide, the noise was very widely used in hardcore tunes at the time.
Bombscare's breakbeat was sampled from this record: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KPiRPkg1LSM http://www.discogs.com/release/499382 This was mentioned in an interview with one half of 2 Bad Mice that I read somewhere on the web (b2vos forum possibly?) The break is clean towards the end for sampling. While I agree that the Jam break is in there, there's additional percussion added to, I'm sure. And the intro to 'funky president' is also used occasionally.
Also sampled on Addiction - Mind Penetration remixes : http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/vicious...plastic/vic003r "I now present to you... music to make you stagger" Also more recently sampled by Skream (but I'm guessing that's not relevant here!)
