    CERT1838

http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/certificate_18_records/cert1838/ For this release, Wr R The Ones should be track 'A' with Drive Down being the 'AA'. FuZion.
  4. Thanks for updating these, http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/digital_deception_recordings/ddr000/ & http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/digital_deception_recordings/ddr001/ Seem to have mixed up track numbering, not a major one, but Track "A" should be "01". FuZion.

    3DMODE04

I have just uploaded clips for this release & noticed that the track order is incorrect, currently it is: A. Devize & 3A - Connetik B. DJ Hazard - Politix C. Devize & 3A - Vicious Circle D. Cru Memba - Insekt But it should be: A. Devize & 3A - Connetik B. Cru Memba - Insekt C. DJ Hazard - Politix D. Devize & 3A - Vicious Circle http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/3d_mode_recordings/3dmode04/ EDIT: I have corrected the clips with the right tunes now, they just could to with being in the correct order as noted aboce. LOAD004

Anyone else seen this error? It doesn't seem to cause any probs & I haven't seen it anywhere else I just thought I'd point it out. It could be just an entry problem to the db, but I haven't seen it before. FuZion.

    Greeley

Are: http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/greeley & http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/greely 2 separate files for the same artist? I think the second is a typo. FuZion.

    Sub Genres

This sub genre thing is a hard one, I think I'm gonna need to get a few peoples ideas before I go genre-ing tunes up only to have people think something else, so here's 4 tunes for pondering time. Where would people place Tech Itch, Stealth: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/tech_itch_records/ti026/ A very hard faced, yet kinda minimal steppa. Minimal D&B or not minimal enough so it becomes a Techstep? How about a production from Photek, Things: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/sanctuary_records/sancd433/ (I've added a youtube video so people can check this one out). But check the drop at 1:51 before you think liquid. Or a Seba piece called, Forever: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/secret_operations/secops008/ Very gentle, but layered with some amazing breaks. So would this be classed as Liquid or something more drummy? And lastly, Martsman here: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/warm_communications/warm014/ Both very experimental, but where would they sit? Take the sub-genres we have in place at the moment; - Drumfunk - Intelligent - Jump-Up - Liquid - Minimal D&B - Neurofunk - Techstep And see what you think for those 4 tunes. FuZion.

    Sub Genres

Here's one, Where would people put the likes of Technical Itch or Dieselboy? Very hard sounding or grinding beats & basslines. It's pretty clear what they're not, but I'm struggling to pick a descriptive sub genre we have here. With those wiki ones I mentioned above, Darkstep, Drill & Bass or Hardstep appear to fit the bill. What's peoples thoughts? FuZion.

    CF004

I have a release here, CF004, & when I purchased the release, I was told by the store that the tracks were: A: Crossfire - Hydra (V.I.P. Mix) B: Crossfire - Hydra (Rascal & Klone Remix) Crossfire Recordings CF004 Promo date Jan 2004 Recently, I have added my collection to my RDB profile & found this to be the release I have: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/crossfire_recordings/cf004/ I've managed to find a few clips online to compare my vinyl & the tunes to confirm this. But, in my searches, I found that CF004 could also be a duplicate release. See: http://www.discogs.com/Crossfire-Time-Travel-Light-Year/release/393223 & http://www.discogs.com/Crossfire-Hydra/release/354309 It appears the shop I got the vinyl from thought is was what they said, since it may well have existed. We should add this to RDB.It could be that it was a white, but never got released making it pretty rare. FuZion.
  19. Ah man, I think I should get some sleep & try again, lol. In my head there was another part... Clicking the number (As a link), would bring up that pop up box that it currently does for yourself. Therefore someone could look at my fave artists & labels. Similarly, if your contributions, videos, ratings could be clickable link bringing up that box letting people see your contributions, videos, ratings etc... Those could have a little extra usage aside from stat tracking. Yeah, the fave genre would just give a guide as to what, for example, type of DnB you're into. Which will be much more useful as the genres are updated. On the pod cast thing, I could easily contribute at least a monthly show making it a regular feature. I do my show weekly, as you'll see on my sig. A one hour blast with site news, interaction from members (Another forum on the board perhaps) & naturally music to boot would be both pretty neat as well as short enough for people to listen to on the go but long enough to get into. FuZion.
  20. I should have elaborated on the faves, sorry. They could simply be a number, like the contibutions etc...: Favorite Artists: xxx Favorite labels: xxx Favorite Genre: AAA Favorite Sub-Genre : AAA (These could be counted based on the persons collection. As for the live streams, would it be possible to have a list of selectable streams for each person. So some could switch on a last.fm feed, some switch it off, some might have tweets on, some not. The stream could be a 4th column, next to the forums. And off topic: When's the RDB podcast starting? My hand's up to drop a show & cycle through the mods that are DJ's so everyone gets a look in FuZion.
  21. I like the new look. Have you played about with the collection & wishlist icon locations? There's that big ol area on the right, next to your location & joined date, how would it look there? I don't really use the friends element. As for the comments, do you mean comments on releases/labels/artists? Hiding e-mail addresses, agreed, unless someone really wants to show them. Lastly, don't forget to put peoples 'favorites' in there. Maybe another icon (A heart or something less lame). And maybe, as you do with the little pink quotes, perhaps having a random quote similar to the profile page, but only relating to something in the persons collection. FuZion.

    JN001

http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/just_noyze/jn001/ On this release, I think the tracks should be the other way around with Gently Does it being the A side. This tune is the more relaxed of the 2 tunes & has a sample saying something like "Gentle as the sight of...". FuZion.
