DJ Rush Bandit's Achievements

  1. Not that it really matters, but the version of "The Ride" by the Slammin boys played by Vibes is an earlier dubplate version with slight differences in arrangement and use of samples compared to the released rendition.
  2. Ooof! Many thanks
  3. Anyone kindly have audio for the Slipmatt set please, couldn't find anything on it outside this website (??). Thanks in advance
  4. A3 = DJ Scratch & DJ Curly - Hi Times & A11/B1 = The Felix Lick off the same vinyl DJ Scratch & DJ Curly – DJ Scratch & DJ Curly EP – Vinyl (12", 33 ⅓ RPM + 2 more), 1996 [r253346] | Discogs
  5. Not sure without audio, but maybe A4 is Eruption - Don't You Want It!! (???). Fits with the vocal's lyrics you've provided. Demo & D.N.A vs. Eruption – Wildstyle / Don't You Want It!! | Releases | Discogs
  6. A13 on Vinylgroover sounds like the beginning of Rhythm Master's "Rhythm Of Life" off Big Beats Records, wasn't officially released until 1996. This could be an early promo version (?). The other tune sounds familiar, it has a slight Midas/Vinylgroover feel in composition, especially those kickdrums. But not so much the bassline breakdown, which is quite prominent. Could be something unreleased, but I'm sure I've heard it somewhere else or even got it amongst my files, so might not be. Don't know though, I just can't put my finger on it.
  7. The last track off the DJ NS set (or what was recorded) sounds like Garion Fey - Lifetime Annoyance Garion Fey – Lifetime Annoyance – Vinyl (White, 12", 45 RPM), 1996 [r162884] | Discogs
  8. On the video over on YouTube, the first DJ playing is possibly the "unknown DJ". It's a guy with shaggy/moppy sort of hair and slightly pointed nose. Apologies for the non-flattering description!! I think it's DJ Time Bandit (??). The MC mentions this name at 21:10 of the video. Of course there could be 2 DJs sets here, as the editing is all over the place, fast & furious!! Sometimes it's difficult to make out what is what, as the video pans away to the outside and other recorded music plays, not music from inside the venue. Maybe this is the one on the latter part of the Ellis Dee tape, as tunes playing include Turbo Sound 2 - Untitled AA3, Equazion - E Creation (EDIT: actually played by Grooverider according to this tracklisting, but not the footage on this video) and DJ Seduction - Sub Dub, the 1 former before E Creation is not a listed tune on any of the recorded DJ's tracklists here above. I don't know, but I just love watching the old footage and it lead me to here:
  9. Just listening to this set on Soundcloud, sounds like the A3 Highlife - Bits & Bobs track played is possibly an unreleased dubplate version, it's quite different to the released one, a little bit more stompier
  10. Do you possess a link to the audio, or a download?! I can help fill in the blanx.......but not without any audio!!!
  11. If you get around to doing that, can you give me a heads up please. Always appreciated. Thank you
  12. I can't find any audio other than Slipmatt from this night on Soundcloud, are there any sets recorded anywhere else please peeps; are the other tracklists going to be compiled? I'd be interested in hearing the other tapes where possible if anyone can help, ta
  13. Small correction on the DJ Brisk set. The K10 track is actually the dubplate mix of Hixxy's "Jackattack"
  14. Jaybus! That was quick!! Thanx a mill man
  15. Ok thanks, if you have it and get time in the future, please let me know
