Ornette
Any more info on the "Original 93 Mix" i see mentioned here Also, when did the 12" get releasedhttp://www.rolldabea...red_light/rl004 I'm suspecting 1995 going by the appearances on the tracklists, and likely after the SUAD release http://www.rolldabea...e_records/sm003 which has what sounds to me an 'earlier' version of Coca Cola (its missing the Side Effect - Midnight Lover sample)
jj
Any more info on the "Original 93 Mix" i see mentioned here https://vocaroo.com/i/s16MTS04rS3O This was the first time Hype played at Jungle Fever and he's mentioned in interviews that he made an effort to get some exclusive dubs for that set. He also played the unreleased Red Light - Give Me A Dubplate / Agony tune on this set. Also, when did the 12" get releasedhttp://www.rolldabea...red_light/rl004 I'm suspecting 1995 going by the appearances on the tracklists, and likely after the SUAD release http://www.rolldabea...e_records/sm003 which has what sounds to me an 'earlier' version of Coca Cola (its missing the Side Effect - Midnight Lover sample) Released about March 1995
Ornette
Thanks for the info This is a really nice version - much more "jungle" than the later versions. Interesting they got on that tip much earlier than previously realised. Was disappointed to discover it was the remix on that Jungle Heat '95 lp, think they missed a trick by not having the 'original' on it, though it does suggest it had probably been 'around' for a while by that point
