The original source is unknown, but Andy C could've taken the chopped and EQed version from DMS - S.O.S. (Instrumental) or another Production House tune (like Euphoria (Nino's Dream)?):

A clean version of the original break is also available in Megabass! Remix sample CD (1992) -> Track 4 Sample 5 "Jazzy Breakdown":

But I'm sure Megabass took it from elsewhere as well, so the original source is unknown.
Also, it's a combination of Tom Scott - Sneakin' In The Back and Little Feat - Fool Yourself breaks.
This break was already discussed in another thread though: https://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?/topic/58542-brassy-breakloop-from-jungle-pirate-mutiny-on-the-bounty-1992/#entry108143

Ah right, cool. Never heard that DMS tune! That's the earliest known source then?

In terms of the Origin Unknown track I still think it most likely from Plastic Jam as they (Ant Miles really) had 'recently' used PJ breaks on Predator and No Boundaries / The Big Bang, Occam's Razor and all that, but it could be DMS etc... splitting hairs ...

Possible, but Plastic Jam probably took it from S.O.S. or Euphoria (Nino's Dream) anyway (Nino used the same sample since he remixed S.O.S. too, and they are on the same label anyway).
The earliest known sources are both Megabass library and DMS - S.O.S. (both are 1992), but DMS and Euphoria versions are chopped and EQ-ed in a lo-fi way, so you can always tell whether someone else took it from a Production House tune or the Megabass CD.
