It went off-air in 1993 when Daz had a few other things going on - it was replaced by Pressure FM which was a lot of the old Dance Zone FM and Twilight FM DJs along with some of the Cyndicut FM DJs. Cyndicut was back on air in 1994 and to be honest, it was on and off for years.... returning to 100.4 in 1997. Then, I believe there were management changes to Cyndicut Express and a lot more politics, but she ended up on 107 in the 2010s There's a LOT more to the story but, I wasn't involved so don't know details post 1997. I don't have any more of this night recorded as I went out to meet Oly and Gaps as soon as I put the tape in and went on the piss on £1 a pint Friday! You hear me calling in on this tape, too, btw. I really don't know much about the later Pressure FM when it was on 100.4, I know there was at least some DJ crossover to the Pressure of 1993 - which, I always believed was a local Thurrock station as most of the DJs were from the same area as me (Denzil, Nephew, M A Double T, Jess, MC Prism, TMS1, Quest, Destiny, Fusion B, Sherbert D, etc) and were either from Cyndicut or Dance Zone? I wish there could be a documentary made about the pirate scene in the Thurrock area with the full history, DJs, studio locations, etc... we're losing too many of the OG pirates now.... but, there is so much gold in that hill. I have a few more Cyndicut tapes to upload which I don't think I have ever uploaded anywhere before? 1991-94. Big up! Quote
