The adverts from a recording on 12/06/93 say Energy Rush is coming out on the following Monday, so release date would be 14th June, but I think that must be for the CD release. I think I've solved the date too. I think it's from 19/06/93. A June date works with the reference back to the recent bank holiday, and explains why the adverts are different to the July sets. It can't be the 5th, 12th or 26th June as the Naughty But Nice DJ's are announced in adverts during recordings from those dates and they're not Johnson and Jefferson. 19/06/93 is also after the Energy Rush release date. The Naughty But Nice advert says that this Sunday has Johnson and Jefferson. Paranoia shouts out to anyone who heard last bank holiday’s show (implying there was a bank holiday recently). KP says A3 (DJ KP vs Chemical Vacation) is available now and selling fast. He also says A4 (M-D-Emm - Energy Rush) is out now. The adverts from a recording on 12/06/93 say Energy Rush is coming out on the following Monday, so release date would be 14th June. I've not found it on any other recordings from before 12th June. The adverts are totally different to the Barn Owl recording I have from 11th July (the date of that recording is 100% confirmed). The recording can't be the 5th, 12th or 26th June as the Naughty But Nice DJ's are announced in adverts during recordings from those dates and they're not Johnson and Jefferson. Yesterday, I found a clip of the same set on one of the Pirate Radio Archive uploads on YouTube. It has the date as 18/04/93. The Pirate Radio Archive dates are always reliable so this must be the date of the recording. 18/04/93 works with the bank holiday reference, and also Johnson & Jefferson are on the Naughty But Nice flyer for that date. The only thing that still confuses me is the reference to Energy Rush being out, when the later advert gives a release date of 14/06/93. It's possible that the advert is for the CD release, though, which was June (according to discogs). Presumably, the 12" single came out earlier.
