eXtreme Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...elease&id=15079 got a copy of this recently, which has 'KODA REMIX' written on it. it does sound abit like a old ram/liftin spirit track early on, with Cold Fresh Air style Amen edits, but on a whole i dont think it is. Any ideas where this info in the database came from ?? Quote
haste Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 i've never undertsood why this is in there. i've seen it listed as this all over the net so i'm guessing that's where the info came from. i don't know the tune but it doesn't sound liekly that this info is correct Quote
thijs Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 sorry, no idea about the source of that info :? Quote
eXtreme Posted July 26, 2004 Author Report Posted July 26, 2004 i'll ask the guy i got these STU tunes from, he got them all himself from lucky Spin at the time. Hopefully he can shed some light on them all. Quote
Dan J Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 When i got my copy of this the info that is on the database is the actual (written in pen) info that was on the label . . so? :? Quote
haste Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 When i got my copy of this the info that is on the database is the actual (written in pen) info that was on the label . . so? :?very strange. it may well be correct but i just don't understand why a (big) back2basics tune remixed by andy c would be released on STU which was a kinda small label. it would have come out on back2basics, surely? i mean andy c wasn't a small name back then either, why release it on an obscore white label only release? eXtreme Posted August 4, 2004 Author Report Posted August 4, 2004 think this is maybe where the confusion comes from : http://tarzan.spoox.org/display.php?type=r...release&id=3019 should be : Artist : Double Vision (aka Andy C)A. What kind of worldAA. Easy Does It 'What kind of world' is a completely different track to STU-11 Quote
eXtreme Posted August 4, 2004 Author Report Posted August 4, 2004 right, here's a clip of STU11. http://www.hardscore.com/STU11.mp3 What does everyone think? Andy C or Not ? i would say 100% Not. Quote
haste Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 no, nothing like him. sounds like standard lucky spin related stuff. just put the track title as "what kind of world (koda remix)" and leave the artist blank, i'd say. Quote
noisemonkey Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 I got sold that tune on ebay as the Andy C remix. It does kind of sound like mid nineties Ram stuff in a way so who knows.... Wicked tune anyway. Quote
eXtreme Posted August 5, 2004 Author Report Posted August 5, 2004 something's gone wrong again :? DEEP1 - is fine 8) STU-11 - problem i would say list it like this : Artist : KodaA. What kind of World drop all the remix input, i think its just a tune that happens to use the same sample. What do you think Haste? Quote
