  1. Had a quick listen, there is a lot of teasing going on in this mix, wonder if it's 3 decks being used ? Not sure if the mix has been uploaded in the correct order either. Anyway, still plenty of gaps... some of the techno tip and probably some obvious hardcore ones that i just can't think of right now. Carl Cox - 19.09.1992 Bad Influence - Never Too Much (BI) ? Doc Scott - NHS (Disco Remix) (Absolute 2) >> TEASE ES-PEE-DEE & DJ Distroi ‎– Alpha Wave EP Awesome 3 - Don't Go KLAM Mix (Citybeat) Dave Charlesworth - Energizer 3 (Energizer) ? Stu J - Take Me To Your Leader (Adrenalin) ? jump jump a little higher >> TEASE ES-PEE-DEE & DJ Distroi ‎– Alpha Wave EP ? ? Dust Muffin ? Edge 2 - Feef Logic (Edge) ? ? ? ? >> TEASE Nino - The Future Of Latin (Production House) >> TEASE Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era - Peace & Lovism (Suburban Base) tape cuts Precious X Project - Dukkha (Hamster) Bad Influence - Never Too Much (BI) >> fades out DJ Seduction - My Own (Impact) Force Mass Motion - Jack Of Diamonds (Rabbit City) >> TEASE Justice & Mercy - Fake Lobsters (RBR SAFE 1) Sub Love 1-4-0 (Earth) ? 2. Sounds like that part 3 does relate to BFTP3. Not sure about any of the Carl Cox mixes unfortunately as I only ever had a couple of copied ones !
  3. Yes that's my tape & it is on the BFTP 3 pack. Like you say, it doesn't seem to be included in the single tapes 1-10, which is strange as I thought the BFTP packs were taken from the single tapes. Maybe this one was a one off ? I found an image of the cover which says "Sasha Part 3", although my tape is just in a standard single Eclipse inlay. http://sbradyman.ang...ha-eclipse3.jpg Yes, i suspect that the Sasha tapes are certainly not in number & date order.
  4. Yes agree, the BFTP numbers are irrelevant as they are random sets put on the packs - it's just a problem when people label them #3 etc. instead of saying it came from BFTP ! Your Sasha #1 is probably correct as it is one of the earliest (Note it's also on the BFTP Vol 5 pack.). However, what about my tape that is also from Nov/Dec 90, which is from BFTP Pack 3 ?
  5. No idea about Grooverider sets, perhaps you got us mixed up there. The Sasha sets are a nightmare, because some are on the Blast From The Past packs & people also then label that the individual number. Are the individual Sasha tapes actually numbered ? I've only had one tape so far and it just said "Sasha" on the Eclipse inlay. It matches the mix on BFTP #3 pack Nov/Dec 90. So, should that be Sasha #1 ?

  7. Easygroove, not sure if there are 2 tapes or not. I have Easygroove #1 - it's from a '91 event. The other single tapes are a nightmare. as just no info - can only go by the tune selection for approximate dates. Would also need all the Eclipse flyers from 91/92 to try and match up the mixes. Here is what i know based on information from other sources : Sasha 2 - Eclipse (Amnesia House), Coventry 29th March 1991 3 - Eclipse Coventry Feb 91 4 - Sasha & Laurent Garnier - Eclipse, Coventry 21-6-91 6 - Sasha & Carl Williams - The Eclipse T2 Aircraft Hanger (Part 2) 1st Nov 91 Top Buzz 3 - Eclipse (New Age) 1991 Carl Cox 3 - Eclipse, Coventry, April 1991 4 - Eclipse Late 1991
  8. Bizarrely the LSD 9 listing i have as LSD 10 on a single Eclipse tape 45 mins both sides. However, i believe the mix is from the BFTP Part 10 tape pack and the correct LSD 10 is as listed here. Very confusing though. Would be good to know if the LSD 9 listing here is correct, or whether it should be LSD 8 or not ?
  9. Seduction A3) Tommy G & Vinylgroover - Sunny Day (Big Beats) Sy A4 sounds like something by Fade & Bananaman, the riff reminds me of Dream Surprise but its not that.
  10. Druid A6) Tommy G & Vinylgroover - Sunny Day (Big Beats) I believe it was indeed produced by Trixxy. Great tune, used to play it a lot in my sets.
  11. Nice ID's, updated. Forgot about that techno number on 20 Hurts...

  15. I've got a Joey Beltram tape that I bought from a shop back in late 91, although it was a copy so i don't know the event. Pretty sure there is some mention of the Eclipse from the MC on the tape, so it's probably from one of those events in 91. I don't see Joey Beltram listed under any of the Eclipse tape releases though. First tune on Side A is Holy Noise - Father Forgive Them Other tunes on Side A are : Frequency - Where Is Your Evidence Mundo Muzique - Acid Pandemonium Beltram - The Reflex Space Trax - Atomic Playboy Science Lab - Flesh & Blood Hopefully someone can help ID the date/event thanks
  16. Corrections : Carl Cox No A1), it is just Ribbz introducing him on the mic. Ace The Space is the first tune he plays. A8) This version of Warpath is not the same as the one on the Ultimate Sampler EP on MMR. There was a white label promo of the Ultimate Sampler, which I don't have to check against - could possibly be that one. However, I suspect that it is Carl's original Dubplate unreleased version. There are less synth noises and a better arrangement.
  17. cheers, no way i'll get the Nu Skool Breaks i'm afraid... but here's some of the proper old skool ones : Ellis Dee A9) Yolk - Bish Bosh (OHM) A10 Dave Charlesworth - Energizer 2 (Energizer) B12) Desired State - Expansion (Out Of Romford)
  18. Is there any audio links for Ratpack / Ellis Dee ? Can try to fill in the gaps...
  19. Yes, totally agree.... the Eclipse tapes are a nightmare as just no extra info at all. No wonder so many are incorrectly labelled on youtube ! It would be nice to complete all the Eclipse single tape tracklistings so that there is a definitive list. What also makes it a nightmare is that the mixes were re-released on those Blast From The Past packs, but in shortened versions (60 min mixes as opposed to 90 mins). Presumably they chop some of the recordings off on either side. This 'Seduction 5' i have is only 60 mins... but in the wrong case ! Of course, that then makes it more confusing when they are on youtube as they don't necessarily start with the correct tune. Plus, people often upload with the B side first ! If only we all had mixtape OCD
  20. Ok not to worry, looks like the listing here is correct for Seduction 5 as the mix also features on Eclipse Blast From the Past vol 8/ I guess the youtube videos are all incorrectly labelled, they sound more like Carl cox to be honest. Also means i have the wrong tape inside the LSD sleeve... oh well !
  21. On youtube, this set is listed as Seduction 5 Eclipse : However, those tunes are all late '91 and it doesn't match the tracklisting on this forum for Seduction 5 at all, which has mid-92 tunes listed. Just to confuse things even more, I have an 'LSD 8' eclipse tape which matches the Seduction 5 tracklisting here. However, the tape may have been put in the wrong case. I know a lot of the Eclipse tapes are mixed up on youtube as well. Does anyone know which one is actually Seduction 5 ?
