R-Hawk Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 When I view the main search page using Internet Explorer V5 on my Mac, the data entry field is not visible. I tabbed through all objects on the page and found that the entry field is the one after the web address field, however I cannot see what I am writing in it - I think it is hidden behind the search criteria combo box?? The search works, but it is frustrating not being able to see it. Cheers,Rob Quote
Logic Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 I'm pretty sure Haste (who does the page design) was alerted of this problem just before he went on vacation, which I think he's still on (the cheek of it! ) No doubt we'll find a fix for it ASAP, thanks for the notification Quote
R-Hawk Posted February 25, 2005 Author Report Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks very much. I've got to stop using my work pc for personal stuff, so I'll be using my mac a lot more... ...next thing is getting broadband - 2 x 1 minute soundclips took me 35 minutes to upload over my normal phone line yesterday . I definitely want to help out with getting soundclips loaded on to your site, but at that speed I just as well not bother! Cheers,Rob Quote
haste Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Saw this before I went away...will definitely try to figure out why this is not working properly as soon as I can Quote
R-Hawk Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 This is starting to do my head in now I can perform searches using the code that you recently provided in my own webspace, but it would be better to be able to do it from the main site. Cheers Quote
haste Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 OK, cool...totally forgot about this. Not quite sure how I can work on it as I don't havce a Mac running IE5. Are you on MSN or AIM at all? Quote
R-Hawk Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 We should schedule a time to be online at the same time, so that I can help you test the changes on my mac. It will have to be evening/weekend though. sound ok? If you have to contact me in working hours, send an email to me at my work address: rob.hawkings@apakgroup.com Cheers,Rob Quote
haste Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 I should be about on Sunday day, if that's OK. I'm often at my PC int he evenings, especially at the moment cos I have loads of freelance work on. Add me and then pop online to see if I'm about when you get a chance. If you keep on missing me then we'll have to arrange something Quote
R-Hawk Posted April 1, 2005 Author Report Posted April 1, 2005 I should be about on Sunday day, if that's OK. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sunday should be cool. I was thinking, I will send you a screen print later so that you can see what I am on about. Quote
