Anybody know the origins of this amen used in

Been used in others too but cant think of any more at mo.

Im sure we have already had it but I cant find it.

Its pitched low and very 8bit and almost sounds like its layered with something else - (Demon?). (Obviously layered even more by redlight with the hot pants etc)

Any ideas please?

to me I don't think it's an amen.

It sounds simular to the 'Let A Woman Be A Woman, Let A Man Be A Man' break but HEAVILY edited and eq'd. your right it has the pitchshifted / time compressed sound, an akai doing that it will natrually sound alot grainier so that exlains the lofi sound.

I always thought Taktix sampled the bit of the break on it's own from Foul Play Volume 3 Open Your Mind - Foul Play Remix (with the stop, hold it, Freeze, now). You all know how that sounds...

I would guess Taktix sampled and effected/beefed/pitched down from Foul Play and SUAD sampled from Taxtix for Red Light. Sound like a plausible chain? Question is what is the original Foul Play sample from?

It's kind of soul pride bits with a pitched up 808 kick and loads of hats...the same one (or from a similar source) in Peshay Gangsta on Reinforced. It's on Jungle Warfare 1 I think...obviously the Foul Play one has bits of their flanging Amen all over it to make it sound Amenee...
