Also if you guys could recomend some wicked 95 tracks besides the usual anthem's eg: Lighter etc

Another thing, If I have a question about releases not posting a new release, can I ask questions about tunes in the Releases forum ?

I hope these tracks aren't 96 tracks that where just played on dubplate at this rave in 95

Can anyone confirm this ?

Also what year did Switch( http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/proper_talent/pt006) come out 94 or 95, you guys on here say one year discogs says another year ?

This is the sort of question I want to ask about releases, but I don't know where to ask on the site ?

Because I am not submitting a release, so I am not sure if I can post questions about releases in the releases forum ?

The releases forum is for everything to do with releases, so that would be the place.

As far as years: this will always be a gray area. The release year isn't necessarily the copyright year. Especially in January you'll see a lot of releases that have the copyright dated the previous year (not to mention a few releases that are released in december and already have the copyright of the following year printed on them...). So it depends on if you're strictly using the release date, or just the copyright year (when listed).

Next to that there usually isn't much info on when records were released. Promo sheets have a date listed, but quite often this wasn't the actual release date... Especially for old releases we either use the date printed on the release or the year that people bought it (people who write the date on the record when they buy it).

All this means that release years aren't 100% accurate.

Looks like they're all id'd!... except for 29-11 & 30-54 -

sorry no idea on them.

Release years is a uncertain science, depends on memory a lot of the time, and I know mine has proven to be faulty a few times.
