The *Nme Click* was founded in 1994 and consists of Önder *Grim
Reaper*, Vali *Bootlek*, Heiko *Splendid* and Marvin *MC Marvelous*.
Theyre best known for their festival *Feeel* or the event-series *Touchdown* and
*Echoes From The Future*, but also other one-offs and side-events like *U.L.M.
[United Local Musicians]*, *StepUp! Special*and many more.
Since the
beginning of 1998 they host their own radioshow *StepUp! Your Sound* on *Radio
Free FM* [check http://freefm.lauschangriff.org/ every saturday between 19-22
h], where they feature guest DJs [everybody from locals to international
artists], do interviews and competitions, give information about the latest
tunes and more. They always look for new talents to feature on the show, so feel
free to get in touch with them and dont hesitate to send in mixes!
They currently are about to release a track intitled *Always On My Mind* with
*Dementia* on the German based imprint *Basswerk*, later on this year the collaboration intitled *Stick Slip* by Austrias *Dementia*, Hungarys *Zero Method* and them will be released on *DSCI4*s *Battle Of The Planets*-Album. Both 12" releases on
*Dimensions Records* helped enormously to build up reputation for the label,
besides that they also had CD appereances on *Up To the Sky*, *nice&smooth
recordings* and MP3-only releases on *Giana Records* and T-Free. [For details
check the discography which is listed below]. *Addict Clothing*support the group
with a sponsorship-deal.
Their sets usually feature back-2-back
selections, covering every style from liquid to techfunk [theyre also available
for oldskool sets from 1992-now], as long as its good music and gives the people
a buzz. MC Marvelous is one of the most popular MCs in Germany and is known for
his unique and soulful chattings.
