  1. Hi Guys, Going through some of my old Kool tapes and I am came across this track. Lifted from an old Kane & Skibadee tape from 1995 / 1996... ish... I'm sure one of you must know the name of this, sounds like Ed Rush? Thanks in advance. Mike / MR2 Kane_TuneID.mp3
  2. Sounds like a Breakbeat Era track but that would be a complete guess as I dont have the LP to listen to.
  3. The effects, bass and horns are also used in DJ Kane 'Game Over' on Renegade Recorings. 001 I believe
  4. Thanks Phokus! Were you the Phokus I bumped into in Greenwich with Wilsh the other Saturday?
  5. easy everyone, does anyone know where the vocal is sampled from on the following track? your gonna (make me) - roni and krust remix http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/more_rockers/2kr003 if u need a clip ill record a sample from the record. thanks in advance.
  6. Re-hosted, someone must know this!
  7. Yeah I see what you mean, I'd never made the connection between those two tunes before, interesting. I have spoken to Kane regarding this tune and although he couldn't remember exactly what it was he said it was possibly Emotif? I will bare the 'Hypnosis' idea in mind and speak to one of the Juice / Splash boys and see what they say! Thanks for that mate!
  8. easy RDB crew, I need to ID this tune from Kool FM 1996. Kane + Skiba-de-dibba-dee! Yousendit link below: >> DOWNLOAD << Thanks in advance.
  9. 1 = Celestial by Konflict on the Maelstrom EP on RH http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/renegade_hardware/rh26 2 = The Beckoning by Konflict, Usual Suspects RMX on the same EP. 3 = Is either, http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/trouble_on_vinyl/tov45 or http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/trouble_on_vinyl/tov49 but I cant remember which one it is, not without looking anyway.
  10. Also used in the following title: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/evil/evil2 If I remember correctly the entire first verse is used in this release.
  11. Ok thanks guys, this seems to clear this one up nicely. Obviously the person who told me the picture sleeves were the first limited pressings of the releases was obviously wrong. Thanks!
  12. I have just noticed this on the Discogs: This release is not active. Status=Pending This must mean that is hasnt been confirmed on Discogs either, I think someone might be providing dodgy information here. Unless someone else can shed some light on it?
  13. I was wondering if someone could clear this one up for me? This release, although only listed once in the Metalheadz database is listed twice in the Discogs database. It states that this 12" was actually repressed the same year (1996) and the only way you can tell the difference is the repress has a full release sleeve and also the catalogue number in the run out grooves differs from the original i.e. METH008 as opposed to MET008. I was unaware that this had been repressed at all so I just wanted to check if my copy was the initial release or if it is indeed a repress as the Discogs database claims. I was aware however that a limited number of releases actually had proper sleeves as opposed to plain black ones. If I remember correctly not all Metalheadz releases actually came with artwork sleeves anyway so I am unsure if someone is giving out the wrong information here. Your help would be appreciated, as always!!
  14. The first one is the flipside of Danger by Special K on TOV, its called 'The System', see below: http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/trouble_on_vinyl/tov12024

    Lucky Spin 028 ?

There was another thread somewhere on this board started by my good self about this particular release, it certinaly does exsist but I am unsure of the artist name/track information.
  18. I'm chatting complete bollocks mate, I was getting this release mixed up with a later release in the Little Rollers series which does actually state the track names. My copy of Little Rollers vol1 is the same as yuors, you can breathe easily now!!
  19. Certainly is one of the rarer mixes of 'Inner City Life' in my opinion, dont see it around that often.
  20. Drum & Bass selection 3 is definately "What Am I Gonna Do" I have the 10" in question and one side is definately marked up as "What Am I Gonna Do" and the other site has no track information at all, just copyright/label information, vinyl scans to come if need be.
  21. Would be a great advertising tool for the site as well I reckon!!
  22. Bhima, mine has a different catalogue number on, maybe because its a promo ??? Haste, sorry man, thanks for moving it over.
  23. Boh! Looking forward to part 2!! Doesnt anyone think the RDB box set is a good idea, once all the parts are done of course? I work at a dubplication house and might be able to get some cd's run off dirt cheap..... Great idea I reckon!!
  24. Cant seem to find this release in the database, no mention of it anywhere. Goldie - Inner City Life A) Roni Size (Instant Mix) B) Nookie Remix Cat no: FXXDJ251 Was this a promo only release?
