Ornette Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Sorry, I had been meaning to get round to this. I was going to post that someone else had been looking for this break also but I can see now its not the same one:http://www.rolldabeats.com/forum/index.php?/topic/53922-believe-break/ I dont know what it is, sorry. I do know its the same one used in Photek - The Lightening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfrLw7tKZUk I had also been going to say its the same one in Foul Play - Feel The Vibe (Again) but thats a different one again! Kudos to you if you track it down! Quote

Kudos to you if you track it down! I'd say Feel The Vibe (Again) is Da Fuzz And Da Boog. I have tried to use it in my own tracks, but it's hell to chop it up as it's completely out of sync. Argh! Specialjustin Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 I know this break so well, but can't remember the name. I have trawled through loads of breaks trying to find it, without success. I do however remember this being used a fair bit on some Ninja tunes releases. And would guess at some of the DJ Food - Jazz Breaks series as a starting point. Quote

H_M_M Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 FOUND IT! and it must be because you can hear, at some point, you get a kick with an open hihat and a snare with an open hihat. Quote
H_M_M Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Ok on today listening to it, I dont think it's the break Quote
H_M_M Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 mainly because of its sound, the snare in particular. but then this is raw, once you've sampled it into an old 12bit/16bit sampler and pitched it up it's gonna sound different. but to me the Silent running breaks snare is more a of a cracking tinny sound. Weltall Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Anyone found it yet? Very interested in this. Quote
AnthonyDavid Posted May 9, 2012 Author Report Posted May 9, 2012 About time we found the li'l bugger lol. Still driving me crazy after all these months. Listened to all the Ultimate Breaks And Beats tunes the other day but no luck. Quote
H_M_M Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Found it! Special Justin, you're right, it is indeed from the jazz breaks series from dj food. So thank specialjustin not just me it's on volume 3. not got a name yet, but I've just bought the vinyl to find out what it might be called. near the end: Quote
H_M_M Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 the question is, where did DJ Food get it? maybe it's a 2nd gen? the more I listen to it the more I think it's a cut up Kool & the gang - NT. Quote
AnthonyDavid Posted November 23, 2013 Author Report Posted November 23, 2013 Found! Bit lazy as it was on WhoSampled but anyway... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsE1WFRhtv8 Quote
