  1. "Brand new (...good for you)" Total Science - Extra Curricular
  2. Also used by DJ Krust in his "Asian Love Dance" (remix), little synth stab from the intro.
  3. I'm positive about the 2 line of strings coming from the same source, they're very much alike... and flute? You tell me how to arpeggiate a flute like that and I'lll be really impressed.
  4. Let's go ppl... I really thought here I would find this one that I've been searching for a long time. The loop off the intro that's also used by Calibre in one of the tunes off his Musique Concrete album ("Vice" is its name I reckon).
  5. Off the Ginger album on Warp from 1993. The main synth line that's looped on the original. Klute - F.P.O.P. Main hook on the drop-out. CLIP HERE
  6. I reckon the former is more thourough and hence more adequate to the purpose of this forum.
  7. Is it the "chorus" on the MBM tune? If so, the original is from Boney M - Rivers Of Babylon, got it on digital format if you need it, Tommy.
  8. Well, it's a pretty minimal tune (after all the record where it was released is a cornerstone of the genre) but he's prolly referring to the part that goes from 56" to 1'03" and marks the drop, the only one that has the looped synth line clean, with no drums underneath. BTW the version sampled is very different from that included in the original Waveform Transmissions Vol 3 (released in 1994) and can only be found in the 1997 Tresor re-release of the album as a "remake".
  9. I suck at figuring out lyrics, but I'm positive about these two vocals taken from the acapella of the original 12" (cat. SNMX 1): Altern-8 - Hole In The Speaker http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/network/nwktr73 Lines of the vocal towards the chorus, sped up Asend - Can't Hold Back http://www.rolldabeats.com/release/second_movement/smr01 First two lines of the original lyric. CLIP HERE
  10. off the Mystical Adventure EP on Fragile 1994. Synth line on the huge drop out of Fallen Angels - Hello Lover (DJ Hype rmx) CLIP HERE
  11. Amazing tune, indeed, one of my all-times faves... what really depresses me is knowing that in 15 years William Orbit came from that into producing Madonna.
  12. Is this the same one Digital used for his relick of Tango & Ratty's "Tales From The Darkside"? I'm guessing here, but could someone endorse it?
  13. Solo & Aura - Summer Madness Guitar riff and part of the vocal.
  14. The main sample, female vocal chorus, is from Maxi - Lover To Lover Still searching for the original 12", but I have it here
  15. EZ Rollers - Believe Synth riff from the intro inserted on the last drop out.
  16. Shades Of Rhythm - Extacy Vocal sampled on the chorus. CLIP HERE
  17. Pls do it, m8. Dunno dis Ruff Rider tune so I can't really be sure, but I do know this Bones tune blatantly samples Spank.
  18. Cause 4 Concern - Slimeball Main 303 line sampled and sped up.
  19. 2 Bad Mice - Hold It Down Chorus sampled almost entirely. Sorry but I can't be arsed to figure out the lyrics (which is ot too tough, I reckon), can anyone help me out here?
  20. Is it the keyboard loop they got off Jimmy Bo Horne's "Spank"? If so, that's the original source, innit? And it's also valid to several other songs such as Cosmo & Dibbs' "Star Eyes" for example. If I'm messing up here, forgive me, dunno the sampling tune in question.
  21. Cause 4 Concern - Skewer distorted/processed vocal from the end of the original inserted on the intro
  22. Rufige Kru - Killa Muffin sampled vocal "everything has a bright new sparkle" on the drop out. CLIP HERE
  23. JMJ & Richie - Free la Funk guitar and bass loop from the intro.
  24. Leviticus - Burial (Philly Blunt) samples choir on the intro. Clip here
