I'd be tempted to list it simply as an untitled, unreleased tune by Dom, to be honest.

 

The strings towards the end of the clip remind me of Fade II Black, but it's clearly not a remix of that!

it was labelled as this exactly when i got it from 'place to be' a long time ago, and it wasn't on that early site for very long. luckily i got it

ive got another unreleased tune (untitled 8) where the announcer guy says "(he lists other track title first, that i cant make out)...and dom and roland mothership remix and right now whe're taking you into the sci fi steptech. check it out on the Optical..."

thats what verified it to me because the other clip (untitled 8) i think follows the mothership remix and it was announced as such .if i could upload here i'd post that snippet of him saying it but that is the quote.

Ok, Dom's been quoted as saying this isn't a "Mothership" remix at all, this is actually a still untitled track that he done from 97.

 

The info came about from the One In The Jungle - Dom & Roland 14/02/1997 show where MC 5ive-0 is heard @27:32 saying about the track played: "Dom & Roland Mothership remix". The track was then later listed on the Place To Be 'Cutting Room' page as that [link], however we now know this is incorrect.

and i personally would freak the fuck out if he ever found Ed Rush - Mothership [Dom & Roland remix]

yep found that one....but again it wasn't a mothership remix,it never had a name!

 

i also found "Aliens" , "the Swarm", and "Revenge" among others..... still looking for the trap although listening to it again did inspire me to make a new amen tune last week with similar edits called "Come to conquer" (went off when i played it last tune at scotties 31 recs night in belgium last night)

So I managed to get an mp3 of this from dom on a doa thread.

Dom has titled it 'Alien March' and from what he has said on doa it will be on an upcoming unreleased tunes project.

Originally the project was "dubs from the dungeon" all dom, unreleased classics, however it looks like that release is changing as he is most likely going to include unreleased track by optical dillinja photek tech itch and others. Not sure what its gonna look like in the end but he has promised this tune will be on it. There are about 2 moments where the dat was mildly corrupted and theres some odd digital distortion [minimal, hardly noticeable] in the tune. Supposedly he will release it anyways according to what he has said on doa.

Its funny that one little screw up from that 1997 mix saying its the dom remix of mothership has left us for years thinking that's what it is but there is no connection to the mothership tune whatsoever.

Its a 1997 tune, dom solo.

By the way "Alien March" "Mothership remix" is now named "Invasion" on the release, the name still suits the tune..... It was just all getting a bit "Alieny" in the dungeon.
