fatpenguin Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 hi how do you link to your wishlist?or how do you find out which number is your wishlist? thanks in advance Quote
The_Manipulator Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 It should be your user number (so 2040 in your case). So it should be http://www.rolldabeats.com/wishlist/2040/ Quote
fatpenguin Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 but that link says i have 0 records (and have catalogued from 1999-2006 around 700 I would like) same for my collection, says 0 but there is over 1000 in mine any help? useful function - but I'm looking to link my wishlist just avoid typing and posting up excel files which takes forever Quote
eXtreme Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 i think you need to make them public beforehand : my controls > edit profile information > then change your collection or wishlist preference there. Quote
fatpenguin Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 cheers! changed the options - how long for it to become public? Quote
eXtreme Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 straight away, just checked your link & its working - 757 wants http://www.rolldabeats.com/wishlist/2040/ Quote
fatpenguin Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 yep it's a lot, I'm wittling down my overall collection and looking to replace the spaces with stuff I really want - and this way is much quicker than using excel most of it is back catalogue, so the chances of me getting it all are slim my definate collection is big enough, but folk will keep releasing vinyl every week, the unconsiderate bastards Quote
sch_pr Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 straight away, just checked your link & its working - 757 wants http://www.rolldabeats.com/wishlist/2040/By seeing this list it came me an idIt could be great if there was something noticing that you own some records that are in the wantlist of someone (xhen you browse this one).Don't know if i'm quite clear. For example, I have V027 in my "have-list" so when I browse Fat Penguin want list, The V027 line turns orange or got an '@' in front of it. hmm? Quote
eXtreme Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 hmm.. kinda like that idea actually Similar idea would be to show up collection when searching for an artist & not just label. thats something i would like to see  Quote
fatpenguin Posted June 14, 2006 Author Report Posted June 14, 2006 "the following members have this item in their collection / wishlist" - or is that too discogs i suppose having for sale / for trade lists is a little ott as well Quote
