PFM & Tayla - The Submarine Tune (November 1994)

I've only ever Bukem play this once and a friend of mine claims to have been there at the time! He also claims that he was close enough to the decks to see that this tune was on the flip of Bukem's original dubplate of "The Western". Weather that is true or not is unknown to me.

 

Have no idea why it was never released.

How do you know it's by PFM?

This tune was discussed on one of the old GLO forums a few years ago and a couple of posters said that PFM had confirmed that it was a PFM & Tayla tune (they had asked him after some of his older studio mixes had appeared online with this tune in it). It uses the same sample that Asend & Ultravibe used in Kop Killa that was out around the same time.

 

I'd be very sceptical about it being on the same dubplate as The Western as Bukem was playing The Western at least 4 months before the PFM & Tayla tune. Bukem first started playing it late November/December 94.

Sorry! I have no net connection @ home anymore so have to stick it on a CD-RW and take it to uni to upload it! Problem is - the computers here with CD drives are limited and are hard to get on if you're not quick! I'm in uni next Tuesday during half term briefly and i'll definately do it then. :wink:
